Our cat won't drink from a bowl of water but will drink from a running tap or fountain or otherwise lick water off outdoor leaves etc. Weird animals. So far not using the fountain - I need to move it away from the feeder to somewhere else.

Also these devices come with a USB-A power cable and you need to provide your own adapter. The feeder can run off 5xAA batteries (not supplied) if the power goes out.

Mine used to do that too but she seems to have taken to drinking from a human ceramic bowl now, on the kitchen counter 😅

Am pondering getting a dry food auto feeder since the wet food one I bought a couple of months ago is a life saver, the Petkit one looks like a pretty good one from what you described. I can't get it this time round but hoping it'll be on special again for Boxing Day.

Our cat was like that. Got a dog and dog bowl and the cat drinks from that no problem 😁

A curiosity more than anything.

What did you buy?

Only purchase I made was the Xiaomi Standing Fan 2 for $99

@wakrak - how is it? does it kick out some strong breeze when on full?

Its aversion to drinking standing water from a bowl is overpowered by its delight in pissing off the dog.

Scheduled to arrive around the 12th. I'll let you know once I've set it up. Hopeful it will be quite strong. DC motor, app controllable, height adjustable. Should be perfect for my lil fullas room.
