Home Phone, whats that?  Mobile is so much easier...

And yes, I would try Vonage for those times I need to call over seas

I only use my iPhone for calling but TimeToCall looks like a great alternative, especially with the billing

I use a 3G iPhone, and two lines on 2Talk in my office with both the iPhone & wifi iPad able to use 2Talk calls over Wifi and 3G(for the iPhone). WiFi access at Nethui made perfect quality calls on my Wellington number to Wellington people free! Local calls in Auckland were at national prices, but compare 3cents to 25 cent per minute mobile calls, its a no-brainer.
The Vonage offer will need to be competitive to cut-it, the service already exists here

I just use landlines for phonecalls. Would be nice to have a mobile one day instead of borrowing an old dunger from home occasionally.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

I use my landline to make most calls, with my cellphone only when absolutely necessary.

I use a landline and Skype, Facetime, Google video chat, Facebook video chat on my computer and/or iPad and iPod. Don't like mobile phones.

By the way, I went to look for TimetoCall in the apps store and all it showed me was a calendar app for working out the appropriate time to phone people in other time zones.

I currently make most of my phone calls on a Vodafone 3G mobile.
I use that a lot more than my landline....

Currently use a combination of 2degrees,  xnet VFX and kiwilink Voip for calls.
Definitely keen to try some new tech.

Current phone an HTC touch pro2, couple of years old, which I run on 2degrees (although roams on vodafone, as no 2degrees towers here in New Plymouth)

I currently use Skype to call the UK and send TXT messages - The guys in the UK use a dial-up company where they ring a number, then dial the NZ number.

Tried to get Skype to work on my mobile using a wi-fi connection to my home router but failed - this would be awesome.
My current phone

Procrastination eventually pays off.
