Rolling my massive assembled BBQ back to Costco got me quite a few strange enquiring looks. My response, 'its a nice day, I thought I'd take my pet BBQ for a walk'. At least it made a few other people smile.

In my mind I am seeing you roll this into the store for a refund...

Jazz is amazing...it's incredible how three different musicians can all play a different tune at the same time 😜

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

I do.

With about 40 years of clean car licence, I’m hoping to avoid much of the foolishness that appears to dog young riders. I must admit that it’s odd having a learner license again!

I’m also pleased that we have a relatively sensible licensing regime, unlike a lot of states in the US in which you can do your riding round the cones bit on Monday and buy a Hayabusa on Tuesday! That’s just madness.

You are supposed to walk 10000-12000 steps every day. Every early morning once around the inner-city lake and a quick shop for fresh food and I‘m done with 350kcal less without any sweat. A few push-ups in the office before the team shows up to stay fit. 😎

I do mine in more of a binge manner.  Ultra running is like that.  ;-)

105,804 is my current single day record though the total event ended up being 134k as I finished at 4am the following day.

So my average daily steps over a year are around 12k, but it's usually either sub 5k or more than 15k due to the training.

It's nice to have lots of water in the Auckland dams. Nearly 20 up on average for this time of year.

Had an MRI today and was asked what music I would like to listen to.

Pink Floyd was my reply, secretly hoping that I would slide in to "Welcome to the machine".

Didnt happen, but wasnt unhappy to hear "Comfortably Numb" coming through the headphones as my field of vision rapidly diminished.

Could have been a lot worse, glad they didn't play "Brain Damage".
