I might watch the latest walking dead episode tonight but all the last 6 have been terrible.
Anyone seen it? Worth the hour of my life?

Not the worst of the season, but not very good either.

I didn't particularly enjoy this story line in the comics either, it just seemed to go on forever. I'm sticking with it because (at least in the comics) after this story line ends it has the potential to get far more interesting.

I'm hoping this arc ends soon.

Haha yup, Its a bit draining. ITs good we got something to look forward to!
I wonder if Coral will have 0 eyes or 1 eye and 1 arm?
I wonder if he will live. Might break Rick a bit more.

I know, this season has been a struggle so far. I watched the first 10 mins last night and it was a littlr bit better than the other episodes. But there was still 50mins left to bore me to tears. Will watch the rest tonight!

I might put myself through the misery and watch it tonight. Lets all pray that it will get better again and we will all enjoy watching it.

What is frustrating me is the tired old action movie tropes creeping in.  Like talking when should be killing X, thus allowing situation to change so X can no longer be killed.

But then it opens the opportunity for Y to be killed by X or Z :).

I like neegan more than the Grimes tho!

Yes but ... in a world where people kill without hesitation and you hate someone that much you would shoot first, talk later.

In nutshell I'm getting sick of experienced, tough, savvy characters doing uncharacteristically dumb things as a plot convenience.

Like others I'm still watching and hoping it will get better.

I was hoping it would be a one season arc, but at this point it looks to me like it will be two seasons (unless they really pick up the pace).

Gah!! I hope not on the two seasons.

On the talking thing... when we watch to my hubby keeps saying 'Just shoot him! Why do they keep (insert action here)’ and I keep telling him, 'It's a to show, it would ruin the (add foot chase scene or whatever here)'

It's really too bad Carl missed.

I've been watching

The Walking Dead - Season 7. Negan is so nasty that makes the Governor looks like a school bully. I love hating him.

3% (Netflix original) - S1E3 so far. It's interesting. Reminds me of The Hunger Games.

Just finished Sense 8. It was a good surprise. Totally above my expectations.

I'm about to start Westworld. I heard good reviews so far.

The reason i like Neegan is because hes the most well played character out of the lot currently.
Brings something interesting to the story. In a way it reflects real third world cults/groups/savages and how they operate. A lot of similarity.

I'm quite liking how much I'm loving to hate Negan I do also agree though that there seems to be too much talking.  If I was Negan I probably would have killed the boy this last episode. I also don't like how they often have episodes end with a mini cliffhanger moment then do a whole episode the following week about a different group of characters.  Just need to spend a few minutes to finish off imo.

Not heard of 3% might check that out I quite like that premise.

Sense 8 I agree totally it was a pleasant surprise which both of us enjoyed and ended up binge watching look forward to the new season starting.

We are 3 episodes in to Westworld I'm enjoying and I think my partners interest is waning so probably just a episode or 2 a week until it's finished off for us.

Other shows we're watching regularly

Agents of SHIEILD I'm enjoying this season more than I thought I would with the introduction of Ghost Rider,

Z Nation still a great / bad way to wind down from serious zombie stuff,

Gotham another good season to date,

The Flash has been good too,

Vikings has just returned and it's a long wait between episodes,

Supernatural average season it's starting to feel like Lost or Prison Break and I'm just watching for the sake of waiting for it to end,

Empire it's something more that my partner likes but I do enjoy bits and pieces of most episodes,

Survivor have always enjoyed this show and will probably watch for as long as they make it,

Ash Vs Evil Dead nuff said lol.

Negan is a master manipulator.  He's not out to kill people, he truly thinks his way is the only way to restore order to the world.  His dialogue in the comic is some of the best written stuff around, if you're liking the character on the TV show I highly recommend reading the comic.  It's bloody brilliant.  I'm very pleased with how the show is portraying him, even keeping some of the dialogue verbatim.

I'm trying to see the world from his point of view. Carl says the only reason to keep him and his dad alive is because 'he has to'. Did that mean because if he killed everybody who opposed him he'd have no one left, or lose some valuable skills? Or something else?

I can't see him letting Carl off...

I guarantee that Neegan will do something to affect Rick. Rick gets angry then plots something and we find out next season!

 Schitt's Creek
Hilarious, in a "Eugene Levy" type of way.
