Still waiting for the promised Cashback on my Nespresso Machine.

The claim was approved at the end of NOVEMBER!

Multiple times they have told me it is "processed" and can take up to 15 days!

Don't make "promises" you don't deliver, Nespresso!

Yep Putting smoke-free signs in public places where there is no requirement to obey just makes people think all signs are just suggestions.

We have a lovely antique doorbell. It is a big, brass bell mounted on the wall next to the door. A chain hangs down from the clapper. When it is rung, it makes a loud clanging sound that reverberates through the entire house.

No-one ever uses it. People's brains seem to have been reprogrammed to only recognise electronic buttons as doorbells. So instead of ringing our perfectly serviceable brass bell, they bash on the windows and peer inside. This really annoys me.

Maybe I should install a button that lights up an arrow pointing to the brass bell. Would it do any good?

A local shop apparently had an outbreak of people not knowing how to use/recognise a doorhandle, because it now has a big red arrow saying "doorhandle".

Rig up a button that activates a heavy solenoid to dong the bell. Will probably scare seven bells out of unsuspecting visitors who use it when standing next to it.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Clothing sizes in general: a shirt that fits me can be labelled any size from XL to 4XL. Usually XL or 2XL is fine, but the variations, even within a brand, can be huge.

And apparently men have it much easier than the ladies as well.

Problem is, socks aren't (usually) something you can try before you buy (eww anyway) and once you open them and wear them you can't return them. It's unfortunate. I have 10.5 feet and socks are usually 6-10 and 11-15.

For the longest time I always buy 6-10 as there is some stretch, and 11 always starts too loose.

For years I bought a particular shirt type from banana republic. They were expensive, but so awesome. Last time, they hadn't changed the size, but had SLIGHTLY changed the cut but made it unsuitable for me, even in the size above. Most disappointing.

Men's trunks/boxers - none of them seem to contain a fly anymore

Also the same goes for PJ bottoms .. finding a pair with a fly seems to be impossible

(From a potential buyer point of view)

TradeMe sellers who list an item with a minimum bid FAR less than they have set the Reserve!

List the reserve as the minimum price and stop wasting everyone's time!

If I want it for THAT (The Reserve) price, I will buy it!

I can't be bothered bidding $1 increments up to "my" price!

Work out what size you need from Marks & Spencer and order online. Their socks last years and the sizing is very consistent. I buy half a dozen pairs every three years or so in the same size with no problem.

When there's one apple left in the fruitbowl, it looks to be nice and crispy, you bite into it and it's rotten on the inside.
