They're in a different league to the standard joints like BK.
Higher price does actually tend to correlate with better/nicer quality burgers imo.
From an Auckland point of view I'd rank them it like this:
Tier 1: Big J's, Velvet Burger, Handmade Burgers, White Lady
Tier 2: Burger Wisconsin, Burger Fuel
Tier 3: Carl's Jr, Burger Queen, Good Local Fish and Chip Shop Burger
Tier 4: Mc Donald's, Wendys, Burger King, KFC
