Meh. I had an In n Out burger recently when in San Francisco. Thought it was not much better than most fast food burger joints. Now Grumpy's on the other hand... really good burgers there! A+++ would trade again!

I hate Carls.... wendys has gone to rubbish over the last year. BK and McDs are the only places I really go now. mcds is consistent, always basically the same basic burgers, but always hits the spot. and now with georgie pies :)

Animal Style burgers are also teh tasty.  I for one, welcome our Californian burger overlords.

This.  I had a holiday there last month and went to In'n'Out with high expectations after an American colleague talking it up.  Came away underwhelmed.  Burger was OK but certainly not an OMG (that's what the kids say these days, right?) moment, and the fries were some of the worst I've ever had, like chewing rubber bands.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

I wonder if In N Out Burger would be able to penetrate the anti-fast food chain force field that surrounds Wellington?

No Wendys, Carls, Red Roster, Dunkin Doughnuts or who knows what else they have in Auckland these days.

Oh well, on a good day you can see the South Island and that makes if feel better.

They've been doing this pop-up marketing for the last couple of years all over the world, haven't opened any branches outside of the USA.

Wouldn't hold your breath for a NZ store.

From the looks of the photos on Twitter the people that made it were 'fully gutted'.
