Waking up in the morning to find new red strawberries in the garden that the birds haven't touched yet.
And then giving them to my kids and wife.

Coming home from work and the kids being so excited to see me.

When my kids ask me to play with them or jump on the trampoline together.

Seeing my kids have so much fun at the beach.

Cooking a meal that my kids like and eat.

Reading bedtime stories to my kids.

Seeing my oldest son (he is 7) reading stories to his younger brothers.

Seeing my kids read the scriptures of their own accord.

Hearing my kids pray.

Not having to change nappies anymore!!! Although I still wipe a lot of bums in the toilet.

Getting a sale and then being paid commission.

Cooking a new recipe and it works well first time! http://maunikagowardhan.co.uk/cook-in-a-curry/butter-chicken-murgh-makhani-chicken-cooked-in-a-spiced-tomato-gravy/

Hearing a kiwi accent when I'm overseas.

Going to Raglan, jumping off the bridge and floating downstream to the jetty just after high tide.

Wow!!

My kids are pretty awesome too.
My 7 year old, makes friends really well, and a natural linguist.
My 5 year old, has such a great heart. When he was little, he would go and get my shoes and matching socks for me of his own accord if he heard we were going out.
My 2 year old, is just super active and co-ordinated.

The link I have with my Son (We are like twins), where he and I can communicate without words, or he or I complete a sentence for each other. He is Six and it's been like that since before he could talk :)

Lucky you.

I can't work out if you are being sarcastic or not, but regardless, yes I consider myself very fortunate.

I was absolutely not being sarcastic. I think a bond like that with your young child is a magical thing. I would say to cherish it, except you obviously already do. Lucky you, and I mean it.

Being involved on here in testing threads, then having an opportunity to reply to an opposer on another thread in a nice way.

When my son - he is 7 months old - wakes up and sees me and gives me the biggest grin with his two bottom teeth peeking out. I melt every single time without fail.

Rain at bed time. Makes for good sleeping.

Summer fruit especially cherries.

When fellow geekzoners help me out.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
