Ahhh.. No

  There are two Putins

No there isn't.  Putin's a thug.

Really ??

https://larussophobe.wordpress.com/putinmurders/

Yes but Putin's 'fine sense of humour' lets him laugh long and loud about all of this.

Yes - my mind is made up - he's an ex KGB thug, liar, oppressor, intolerant bigot.

That you and millions of Russian citizens disagree doesn't change my opinion.

Hmmm

Putins popularity rating (Jun 2015) is 89%. The population of Russia is 143 million

So there's 127 Million stupid dumb rooskies that need your guidance :-)

And he may, as you say, be an intolerant bigot..

Blair had a 93% approval rating in 1997.

Putin has a high "disapproval" rating in North America - where the press is free.

He is popular in China, Ghana, Vietnam.

France 'Avenges' Nice Massacre, Massacres 120 Syrian Civilians

A French-led bombing attack on the Syrian villages of Tokhar and Hoshariyeh today has reportedly killed more than 120 civilians.

The French Government have found a perfect recruiting tool for more radicalised  refugees

Thus ensuring NICE was not a one off.......but a instance of a procedure stuck in an endless loop

The "Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity" website you linked to is down.

It was a US-led attack, not French-led.

Nobody (sane) is suggesting that the civilian casualties were deliberately targeted, let alone to "avenge" the Nice tragedy.  To do so seems particularly evil, as it would support ISIL recruiting efforts.

Irrespective of who led the strike, it's interesting that no-one feels compelled to start a thread on "Another sad day for Syria".

Oh wait, practically every day in Syria is sad.

[1] From the Guardian July 20:

"In the early hours of Tuesday morning, activists described coalition aircraft hitting a cluster of houses in the village of Tokkhar,

where nearly 200 people had gathered to seek shelter as the frontline shifted towards their homes.

Most of those inside were killed or injured."

I don't think it matters much to those no longer with us, or to those that are injured

whether they were French bombs or US bombs.

And Hollande has vowed revenge.. the gift that keeps on giving

[2] "Nobody (sane) is suggesting that the civilian casualties were deliberately targeted"

I'll take you at your word :-)

Here's just one instance

MSF_Hospital_in_Kunduz_deliberately_targeted

There are many more..

And the trail of death, carnage and destruction is a pretty clear indicator of the absence of sanity

Just look at the world around and about us..

I rest my case :-)

PS Thanks to freitasm for straightening my BBCode - I think it is allergic to spaces

It is very sad that innocents will be casualties in a conflict. However, it is a war zone and this is going to happen as it has in just about every war.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

It would have happened a lot less if that unspeakable basterd (sic) Assad had been prevented from massacring his own people from the beginning.

That lovely man must be cowering in a very deep rat hole or sewer somewhere there to avoid being bombed. Hopefully it's only a matter of time...

It goes back well before then, the seeds were sown for decades of strife at the fall of the Ottoman Empire.

As bad as Assad is leaving a power vacuum is not the answer.

Maybe it wasn't with Sadam, maybe it wasn't with Gadaffi, but Assad is an evil, murdering SOB. Anything is better than him, and there is already a vacuum since he has devastated anyone and everyone he could drop a barrel bomb on.

Sadam killed countless numbers of his own people and so did his Bath Party predecessors, Gadaffi wasn't much better.
