They did, yesterday, all saying the same thing. The reality is, the people aren't interested, they want to be heard.

It will settle down, some people may get injured or die, but this is the America of today and it's no longer possible to deny it. The people have shown how unhappy they are, it will continue until the people get what they want or until they are satisfied it's coming.

I wonder if you are of the opinion that the people who voted for Trump are (all) mostly bigots, racists, sexists?. 1/2 of the 100million voters voted him in. Americans I have spoken to who admitted to voting Trump say they mostly ignored the nonsense and voted for policies such as limiting the terms of polictians, stopping lobbying of high ranking polictians, limiting campaign contributions etc. Some voted because of the wall, there IS some logic to this wall and if you care enough you can check into my comments in the prior thread about the wall.

I don't think most people believed the more outrageous claims would ever happen, there will be a few upset, but there are after every election.

Puhleeze!!! He's NOT the leader of the free world. No American president since maybe Kennedy has been. He's the leader of the most powerful country in the world, which is interested in promoting its own interests to the exclusion of all else.

But yes, there would be consequences for publicly insulting him.

The Russians apparently "helped" "install" Trump as POTUS.

There, right there is a complex web, the makings of a Hollywood thriller ... US secrets, online security and Russian spies all in one room. First one to blink loses.

No, I do not think all of Trump's supporters are bigots, racists and sexists. I was referring to those who are, and the likely disappointment they must be feeling at discovering he is just another politician after all, who will say anything to get elected, and then do something else. Isn't that what they were loudly accusing the opposition of? They must now be wondering just what it is they did vote for.

One of my big problems with Trump (there are many others) is that he has repeatedly shown himself to be a bald-faced liar. He chops and changes from one moment to the next. What is really frightening is that he seems to actually believe whatever version of the lie he is telling at any moment, and conveniently forgets all the other ones. I do not have an objection to some of his policies, but I do not believe in his integrity or honesty. He says whatever he thinks people want to hear. How can anyone know what he actually believes, if anything, or have any confidence in his intention to do anything he says he will? I don't trust him and that is the basis of my objection, not his policies as such.
