Can offer you guys some really good vegan recopies for a BBQ if you keen.

This post saddens me in this day and age, every living creature has the right to live 😪

But if it wasn't for the demand of us meat eaters, would the creature even have lived to begin with?

We are creating life

Imagine if we stopped eating all of the animals in NZ? Populations would surge. Meat eaters are not creating life. The best thing you can do for our shared environment is to stop eating meat. Most farms are cruel, and thats not a good life either for the animals.

BBQ season is not all about meat. Its sad to see all the photos here in this post with all the dead animals.

Start here for some good Vegan recopies for the BBQ :-)

I notice in your recipe list there are vegan burgers, but there weren't any vegans in it, so that's probably false advertising :)

Thanks for the link though, I'll take a look.

If thats suppose to be a joke you are a very sick individual. But hey I suppose thats what happens when you feed your brain with animal protein.

It gave me a snigger.  I notice you're quite new here. You're entitled to your vegan opinions and to voice them but if you start to personally attack people for having views different to yours you won't last long on Geekzone.

Is a lack of sense of humor a feature of eating plant protein only? :)

You should really take your preaching down a notch or two. You are sounding mildly unhinged. You are exceptionally unlikely to convince people to your point of view with such an aggressive manner when discussing your life choice.

I wonder if there is an easy way to run it without power - ie most people's bbq is the go-to option for cooking in a natural disaster etc. Otherwise it looks awesome!

The green mountain grill runs off 12V, not sure about the weber

Excuse me? What sort of response were you expecting for calling me judgemental, and then making jokes about eating "vegans"!!!  Please go and read my first post again, it was not judgemental at all.

If you were trying to trigger me you certainly did. Just at least try and have a little bit of understanding that some of the images in this thread will shock and offend some people 😭

Apologies all. I'm not trying to be aggressive or convince anybody anything. I'm sorry I opened this thread because if I did not I would not have commented in the first place.

I personally didn't feel judgmental at all. Different people, different levels of response...

Are you honestly suggesting that some people will click on a thread link that has BBQ in the title and then be shocked to come across photos of meat being cooked????????🙄

Had my Weber family Q for about 3 months now, absolutely outstanding and by far the best BBQ I have ever owned.

Steak, Sausages, chicken wings, meat patties on it last night accompanied with the wife's amazing potato salad just amazing.

Our Beach Place is a group of apartments centrally managed, a couple of years ago they replaced the old horrible gas grills with new Weber 3000 gas grills. I had never experienced gas grilling like that before in my life. I feel like I missed out. I very much enjoyed BBQ'ing with it, and now, we often take down meat with us, or plan BBQ's when we are there which we never did before. It's next level compared to what I'd had before.

We've just purchased a Q3200. The trial run last night went well, and even managed to provide our fussy vegetarian with a full meal, without doing salad. Impressed so far!

I'm not sure if your comments are serious here or if you are taking the mickey?

Why would you say "most farms are cruel"? Is that based of a study you have done on farms and farming practices in NZ, or just something you think? Genuinely interested to know.
