boosacnoodle: Shame the prices are so low but that's about the only reason why I'd continue using them going forward.

I've never really understood what are people buying on Mighty Ape. It's been more expensive or no-stock for nearly everything I've looked at for years and years.

Board games for us, often were comparable prices or on sale; helped by vouchers being given to me from work.

Yup, similar here. Had some fantastic deals from them over the many years (since their Amiga days). Signed up for their referral program years ago, and had some good kickbacks off that as well. (Which has currently been stopped due to new website... have feeling its either never coming back, or will have some impossible target to hit before you can use it)

Took them a week to respond to my support ticket.   Online chat said not open, only 9:30 to 4:15 or something.  This was at 11:30am on Friday.

MA customer service is rubbish right now, I'll take my business elsewhere.

Generally PS5 (and previously PS4) games for me, as someone who prefers the disc version because it's generally cheaper than the digital (which seems ridiculous but PSN is a monopoly on digital). I've usually found MA have been cheaper than the alternative options (EB Games, JB Hifi) for these, particularly when there's a sale or discount code. Have rarely bought anything else from them. Bit of a shame they have removed price matching now though.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Delivered this morning (Hamilton). Not bad. Arrived within 24 hours of ordering. Not a fan of the new website but some parts of the business are still functioning well.

I'm going to add my 2c of if you're after a company like MightyApe before they sold out to Kogan check out

https://www.Notsocks.co.nz

Kiwi owned, ran out of Christchurch and the staff always seem very happy when you click and collect.

They appear to have a really nice office culture, which is nice.

Urgh... I just came across something that has turned me off Mighty Ape now.... maybe its something they've done for a while and I never noticed, or it could be part of what kicked off this thread (i havent read everything) ....  but they're allowing 3rd party sales through their platform.

So will now be "sorry, you bought that from xyz, not MA" for returns etc.

I think that was their motivation for the site change. Dick smith is full of third party sellers and I expect with one click all that muck will be on Mighty ape too.

Yep, I just noticed that a couple of days ago. They used to have that "feature" 10-15 years ago, and I used it a couple of times, but ultimately it fizzled. It was aimed at individuals back then, but it seems that this time they're going for big sellers so I suspect the site's just going to turn into a swamp of dropshippers.

I have no idea what is going on with my preorder of the atari 7800+ that was supposed to ship in 2 days. Says paid in the order history but I am pretty sure it isn't, and I need to give a different card number before they can charge it anyway.

Under the old system they gave a notification a few days beforehand, but it wouldn't surprise me if that's yet another feature that's disappeared in the "upgrade".

Oh FFS....  Friend asked me to order him something on our account because we have Primate for shipping. So went through the process, and they're trying to charge me for shipping!!!
