Got an order today. 12 days from ordering to my door! I was more than happy with that. Now I just need the next order to turn up so I can use it to build the first! Doesnt even look like the second order (from a different seller) has even left China yet. Ordered on the same day. Oh well.
kobiak: Special line-yw.
Picked up on 15.11 and delivered today 24.11
Meanwhile, it took Castle Parcels from 11 November until today to get a package from Onehunga to another suburb of Auckland.
It's almost at the point where I'll start buying regularly again. China Post is slow, but nothing seems to be horribly delayed anymore. Only one package was lost in transit (buyer protection expired) and that was from late August. Everything else since has either arrived or has shown signs of progress.
I've had a few from AliX arrive in the past couple of months. Generally been about 2-3 weeks.
Ordered some kids PJs from Cotton On two and a half weeks ago. Still in Auckland somewhere.... Same with Kmart - takes about 2 weeks.
Most recent 46, 47 and 52 days .. China Post registered and ePacket
Prior to that I has 12 days with a new option "Aliexpress Selection Standard"
On Sunday I ordered some small widgets from a few different Ali sellers.
"Expected" delivery dates are now 13Jan, 31Jan & Feb.
Most of the sellers I looked at had "expected delivery" Jan/Feb
I guess 11/11 & Black Friday sales have completely overloaded the Ch courier/postal services
It will get worse as the xmas buying spree approached.
I would say , if buying now, dont expect anything this year
The orders from 2 weeks ago seem to be stuck in China , stuck at depots and not moving
kobiak:
insane. 1 week to be delivered within AKL :(
Back to the pre-COVID level of service.
I've had slower deliveries than this during normal operations. I'm currently seeing 3-5 day delays for most packages once NZ Post acknowledges them in the system. I've had a few which have been tracked as arrived in Auckland (not necessarily true) for several days before the NZ Post system shows arrival status, so it seems there is a backlog scanning things in, but once your package gets past that bottleneck, it enjoys the usual slack service NZ Post is renowned for providing.

1 week is pretty good . Its all relative .
I recently had a LOCAL Ak delivery take 10days . From Glenfeild to Torbay. A 20minute drive .
I still have a Ali order in Ak , waiting to be processed & handed to couriers , well over a week so far and hasnt moved.
Id be happy to be only a week :-)
Does anyone know who delivers for DPEX? is it Aramex or Toll? I have a package from Guangzhou sitting at Auckland hub from 29 Nov to Auckland central
Thanks!

AliExpress Standard Shipping seems to have slowed a bit. I have had four packages shipped over several days that were consolidated into one, which of course is now only 2 days into its journey. Previously, packages have left the sorting centre much quicker.
Other packages:
Cainiao Standard For Special Goods (1) - Fast.
Yanwen (1) - Slow.
ePacket (3) - All returned.
Singapore Post (1) - Reasonably quick.
China Post Registered (3) - One fast, one slow, one returned.

Either they're being really careful with Covid or they're worried about dozens of little baby packages arriving at the destination.
