The only road to our house gets closed all the time for the Targa Rally. We can't even leave our own home while it is on.

Rikkitic:

The universal replacement of straightforward written documentation with YouTube ‘help’ videos

This really bugs me too, and google search often puts these videos at the top of the search results.

With video tutorials, you cannot easily skip to the actual solution and you can read 100 times faster than scrub through a video.

Although, there are some exceptions such as the odd photoshop tutorial where it can help to identify controls.

My other annoyance is with webpages that try to trick you with obscure 'download' or 'next page' buttons.  So, you think you've clicked the download button but it takes you to some crappy advertisement for some random product. I get it, they make money from this but don't like it.   It is a sign of a less reputable website in my view, having to trick its users into making money for them.

I'd demand compensation and alternative arrangements.

Doesn't work that way. I discussed it once with the local council person in charge and he could only go on about all the millions the event brought into the region. However, others have also objected and I note that they have stopped holding the rally here every year. It still happens but they seem to be trying to move it around a bit. That's better than it used to be.

The nodding muppet cabinet minsters standing behind the PM when he is giving a press release or is being asked questions. Yes this annoys the hell out of me for some reason.

Cat hair. Somehow it gets woven into the fabric of my desk chair and nothing I try will remove it. MY desk chair looks like it is sprouting tendrils. Gross.

damp latex glove and rub it and it will all come out of the weave quite easily.

This would have to be one of the best things I have ever bought for cat hair. Works every time no exception.

Which is why I always scan all my important receipts. I am sure you will find an app that helps you with that for your smartphone of choice.
