Many years ago, when I first visited New Zealand, I was on a world trip. I carried my valuables in a belt. Unfortunately, it was not waterproof and I had some perspiration attacks in the humid heat of Fiji whilst climbing mountains and indulging in other physical-type activities. By the time I eventually made it to Thailand, the Thai Air ticket to my next destination, which was printed on thermal paper, had turned completely blank. There wasn't a trace of anything left on it. Fortunately, I had had the presence of mind to make photocopy backups of everything, which were not printed on thermal paper. The Thai Air people were very nice and had no problem at all accepting my copy along with the blank original.

Receipts printed on thermal paper which fade out so you cannot make a warranty claim!!!!

Which is why I always scan all my important receipts. I am sure you will find an app that helps you with that for your smartphone of choice.

Yep, I use Scanbot, but only on higher value stuff. Otherwise I'd be scanning stuff all day haha.  e.g, my sons new school shoes, cost $80, split down the side, receipt faded out after just a week in the wallet.

Drivers who enter the turning bay or flush median at the last possible moment slowing down traffic in the main lane to do so.

And leaving half of their vehicle in the moving lane, which is now stopped because of them.

And drivers who go to the end of a merging lane and stop.

Gaah! Yes! This! Happens all the time on Adelaide Road. People turning in to Maccas and flippin' taxis returning to HQ.

Even reading your post about it now enrages me. Flashbacks to all the times it's happened.

The daily deal sites that feature stock pictures of left hand drive cars in their automotive ads.

News headlines/articles that report ‘car lost control’, instead of ‘driver lost control of car’, which is usually what happened, unless it's one of those new driverless capable cars...

For some reason I keep running into forums recently (not Geekzone, thank goodness) that use expiring 'tokens'. I keep multiple tabs open so sometimes I come back to an earlier thread, see a new reply, type in a (sometimes lengthy) comment, hit the send button, get a message that the @#$%$!# token has expired! That is not so bad, but every time it happens everything I have typed disappears forever into a black hole. That is really annoying. Why can't the box stay put so I can copy what I have written, renew the token, then paste it back? This has got to be one of the more user-unfriendly programming idiocies I have encountered recently, and for some reason I have been bitten by it on four different forums in the past week or so. Yes, I should think to refresh the page before writing anything but I don't always remember to do that. I still think it is stupid unless someone can explain a good reason for this.

Microsoft and their inability to recognise that high resolution displays were invented some years back.

Apple seems to have mastered this a long time ago.
