OMG check out one of the early Xmen movies for this.
Magneto or similar crosses a bridge with cars flying up in the air and then magically it's night time on the other side.

I remember that one!

Often seen in TV land like Midsomer Murders. They jump in the car to go to interview Mr Smith in broad daylight and by the time they drive 5 miles it is the middle of the night...!

In film they spend such care on continuity but that one seems to get by on numerous occasions.

And when said free service, or for that matter, paid service, is not tailor made just for me

lol, you know what I mean, but yeah I hear you.

Like that time I complained that the sun weapon, in the new star wars movie, shoots a light ray across the galaxy, which magically splits into 5 or so smaller beams once it nears a group of planets...

When regular posters on here change their avatars to something new. It takes a bit of getting used to.

When someone submits a change request, you ask them a yes or no question to clarify the request, and you get a half-page novel back that doesn't touch on the question.

Actually at work when that happens. You ask 2 questions and get a huge reply back about just one of them.

Some people you can't ask more than one question at the time. Don't know what kind of deficiency makes that happen.

Hotel room-key-cards that lose their memory.  Especially when you get back late and there is nobody on reception ...
