Can't recall if I said, but Eddie Izzard a few weeks ago.

It was against my better judgment. He's never been especially funny and has not improved with age - although he does a good "Rambling Weirdo" impression.....

We left at the interval.

psychnurse: Broods was great on Feb 13th at town hall.

First concert was Thompson Twins, Western Springs 1985.

I thought Broods were great too. She has such a powerful voice. My only problem was it was the set was short, but that's always going to be an issue when they have only written so much material.

Foo Fighters in Christchurch March this year. They did an awesome rendition of Under pressure by Queen and David Bowie.

Was an amazing concert,

Isle of Wight festival in 2010 with all access passes including the musician family area and the catering truck.

Nepotism was a wonderful thing.

Appeared on telly too as director told the camera guys if they didnt put me on the big screen, he wasnt going to pay them.

Most amazing weekend of my life. ( yes even more amazing than when I first et my other half - althought your never supposed to admit that)

A.

The Eagles on Saturday night were awesome. I may have been one of the younger ones there being in my 20s, but grew up listening to them. It was an amazing concert and I thought they sounded every bit as good as the CD. Tickets may have been pricey but well worth it for the 3 hour long set, about twice as long as many other concerts tend to be. Only downer was queuing for 20+ minutes each at 2 different merchandise stands only to get to the front and be told there were no programmes left, and they couldn’t sell me the display one. Thought I was there fairly early too – this was before the support act started so perhaps they massively underestimated demand or held back too many for Sunday. Feel sorry for those who went on Sunday and didn’t get the message about the time change.

Summer Tour Concert - Went for Alanis Morrisette. Was more than I was expecting. Her voice hasn't lost any of it's power. I would have liked a bit more chat, but she played all but one or two of my absoloute favourites, including some B tracks.

Along with Delores from the Cranberries, there are only a few women in the world with such unique and unmistakable voices, Alanis fits in that category.

Uninvited was a highlight, hairs on my neck and arms came up as she sang it. Everything also amazing.

Played her on Spotify on the way home and found a song I'd never heard before which is spectacular.

I went to Roger Waters, Us + Them last Friday night.  Awesome show.

Roger still sings pretty well for his age and his songs are just as relevant today as when they were written.  I like his new stuff too.

My personal favorite from her - That Particular Time.

I'd not heard that one either, also really liked it instantly.

I've always been really huge into music, my Son and I are almost twins we are so alike. When we played simple together, I was thinking at the same time he said it.. "my heart hurts". He's 8 so not really likely to fully understand the song, but he gets the tone of the music. Was quite cool.

Apparently, she wrote Uninvited in 15 minutes!

I think my father qualified as the oldest groupie having travelled the longest distance from where the band was playing.

The 85 year old insisted that we go see the UK band Ocean Colour Scene at the Wellington Opera House 48 hours after his arrival into NZ from the UK. Turns out he has known the lead singer since he was a baby and had long wanted to see them play live. Well, what better place than Wellington? Great time after the concert and brilliant people to meet. Damned good music too.

Emerson, Lake and Palmer hold brilliant memories in the 70's, the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band the strangest name and the two Hawkwind concerts were just a blur lol.
