I still have a pair of Kaydees made in NZ plastic strap up jandals that I wore at school and as a teenager - especially on the beach. I'm now over 60 and I still use them from time to time and get an occasional comment from people who say, I remember those! There's still a decade or two of life left in them I think so they could outlast me.
