I've always thought it makes a lot more sense. I'd rather have a big square that a super long rectangle. Widescreen is good for movies, not so much for PC monitors IMO.

jamesvini: why are your monitors horizontal?

I'd much happier if work can provide 30" screen but no, they don't so 2x 19" portrait is what I can get, and I'm a coder/web developer and so I need tall screen estate then wideness.

Not my Comp but well awesome, you just need to setup a rig for your pedals and stering wheel and you would be away.

I posted my old desk in a similar forum:

Now I've changed jobs and this is my new setup:

A bit less cluttered, not as much "techy" stuff, more management orientated. However:
- Still looking into a carpark
- Still just a lappy screen
- Same Cisco mug with a pair of scissors in it (not the same scissors)

Now based in Perth WA.
