Hmm, still showing free at my end. Is that specific product maybe ineligible?

Add product thats supplied by MA - no free shipping. Add another $10 item to order from MA, and now the free shipping works. Primate does not apply to non-MA items that they list.

So it actually cost me $10 for shipping (I live pretty much "down the road" from them), but managed to cover that by using one of their codes.

Its so f'ed up.

Site does state "99% of items" are covered by Primate. But how are we to know which ? It was going to charge me $35 for shipping 5km.

Are they no longer offering pickups?  The new website is dogsh*t - but I can't find any way to order a pickup now even though their help articles claim it's possible.  And I'm pretty sure it's an item they should have in stock (MA mouse pad) or are they drop shipping these now?

They keep saying to anyone that complains that its the top priority to fix that on the site, yet its been forever since it launched and its still not fixed.

They also say the same priority to fix thing to people with broken wish lists and other issues with it. I think there is no fixing happening.

Well, an update.... of the two items ordered, one is on its way. The other, although in stock, is still in limbo....

For some contrast, I think MA has been better overall than before the purchase. A number of times I've felt like they had Amazon level customer service. I've had things like incorrectly delivered items sub60'd to me at no charge, and a few other above and beyond things.

Don't get me wrong, I've had many very good experiences too, relatively recently. Definitely since the purchase. But it does very gradually seem to be sliding...

And the experience today trying to order things on the new website (which endlessly pushed me to join as primate to get cheaper deals and\or shipping, before giving zero option to pickup)  made the cynic in me wonder if they're going to gradually move to get rid of local pickups, then eventually close the onshore warehouse and move to shipping direct from Aus.  I really hope I'm wrong and it's just a temp issue they are fixing with the website though!

PS: Anyone know if you can drop in and order+pickup on the spot...?

I don't believe you can order and pickup immediately. Chat would be able to confirm how long it usually takes. Their warehouse is pretty freaking massive.

I was in there approx. this time last year, picking up an order. I am pretty sure I saw a computer in the foyer for people to use to order online and then pick up?? Or was I imagining things...?

Before this recent change, they were generally very quick at sorting out an order, most items I'd have an email to say it was ready for pickup within 20mins of submitting it.  But now, they don't seem to allow pickups at all - for now.

Cool....  logged in just now... can't access the account at all. Can view products etc but unable to see my account/order details.

I know websites have teething issues but this is just ridiculous.

The filters on the site are so broken, how do people even browse for things? any tips? lol

for example filtering for furniture in the black friday sale gives me a bunch of random things...

I believe they are well aware of the issues based on the social media posts I've seen them make.

That one looks like they have combined multiple categories.

I just scroll down and then eventually some different things will show up, but sometimes its the same things that show up again like in the broken wishlist.

Its totally stuffed.
