Current broadband connection: Orcon Fibre

Gaming setup: Basic, enough to play World of Warships with good graphics, but way too much mess around my keyboard

Spark VDSL2.  They are at least saying we can get a custom fibre hook up now, but I dread to think what it would cost (the big fibre cable is across the road to me, and 500M from the cabinet).

I use gaming keyboard and mouse but only because they work well with content creation apps like Photoshop.

My set up feels like it is getting old already. i9 7900X, RTX2070, 64Gb RAM.  Lots of fast storage.

I had Call of Duty installed to check the RTX2070 but played a couple of times and got bored.

With no fibre connection I am not sure how Orcon Fibre Pro could make any difference to the games I don't play.

Current broadband connection: 2Degrees Unlimited Fibre (300/100)

Gaming setup?
Somewhat - an old logitech G105 keyboard from 2013, a $30 logitech G300s mouse, an RTX2060 bought in 2019, and rocking 3 monitors - mainly for work, but comes in handy for some games.
A basic 2.1 speaker set that cost $60 back in 2012! My old headphones from the same era have finally died but not replaced yet.

How would a Fibre Pro connection improve your gaming?
It would be super fast! that lower latency would mean less excuses I guess...

Current Broadband: Spark Max 900/400 (Reliable)

Gaming package: None thus far but kids would think i was the best dad ever if I had one.

How would a Fibre Pro connection improve your gaming?: Connect with all the cool kids :)

Current broadband connection: 2degrees Ultimate Unlimited - 900 down 400 up

Gaming setup: PC + PS4 - if dual-booting iMac counts as PC gaming :)

Fibre Pro for gaming: I'd say a good Wi-Fi benefits PC gaming much more than game consoles as my PS4 has a rather poor WLAN adapter anyway. A hardwire or even a powerline adapter would be more helpful for consoles.

What is your current broadband connection?  Starlink Satellite

Do you have a gaming setup?   No gaming setup as such. I make do with a 7 year old i7 4770K. Adequate for solitaire but nothing too taxing.

How would a Fibre Pro connection improve your gaming? If I had any fibre available I could justify getting a faster PC and getting up to date. If I am a winner then I will have to donate the Orcon Fibre Pro+ WiFi Pro to someone who can access it.

Thanks Orcon !

Current internet connection: Fibre 300/100

Gaming setup: nothing special as computer is too old.

Fibre Pro would give me a more responsive Flight Sim experience.

What is your current broadband connection (xDSL, fibre, satellite, dial-up?

- Slingshot 300/100 Fibre.

Do you have a gaming setup?

- Kind of. I can game if I want to , but I don't as often as I did when I was younger.

How would a Fibre Pro connection improve your gaming?

- Perhaps in terms of reduced latency.

You get a second entry in the draw if you post a picture of your existing gaming setup.

What is your current broadband connection (xDSL, fibre, satellite, dial-up) and do you have a gaming setup?

Fibre with MyRepublic. Yes! I have a 8700k with a 1080ti that has served me well for years and is plenty enough game for me.

How would a Fibre Pro connection improve your gaming?

Not sitting behind a NAT would be fantastic. Also, not having my internet cut out 1-2 times a week would be nice ;)

Yep - my thirteen year old Thinkpad T520 (see pic) is my gaming rig.

Fun fact - it is air cooled when the fan works.

Currently have a Yrless Plus wifi connection 50/50 with super low latency but have held of on installing fibre because friends have higher latency than me on direct fibre

Only gaming I seem to do these days is fix my kids Minecraft problems.. you know one child TNT's another child's house and all hell breaks loose so I have to "fix" their house.
So gaming setup is for my kids to enjoy as my original rig is about 20 years old.

This is much newer than my 20 year old gaming PC, it barely runs minecraft these days

I'm currently on regular fibre with Slingshot (not full speed) and I don't have a gaming setup!  It's just the playstation on the lounge tv plus the teenager with his xbox in his room... 😄

I think the upgrade to full speed fibre and the mesh wifi would be a godsend for us though.  It's always a struggle to get good signal at the end of the bedroom wing of the house, and the higher speed would make all those software updates on the playstation and xbox happen a lot faster (Fortnite I'm looking at you!)

I could also really use that gaming chair... would be a good step up from the dining room chair when I'm working from home. 😁
