That's why so many otherwise strongly antisemitic Christian-Taliban types are supporters of radical Zionism, their rapture relies on an armageddon-style war starting in the Middle East, specifically Israel.  So they actually want to see a disastrous conflict start there.

With the Radio Telephones.
I'm more surprised that Hezbollah purchasing department bought ICOM RT that have not been manufactured for 10 years!
Given Hezbollah tie up with Iran, and Iran's tie up with China.
So trusted supply chain through Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

That they did not buy something like Baofeng that seems to have a good reputation? and you get fresh product from the MFG.
Or another trusted Chinese OEM that well Government connected.

I think that tells you the relationships are not as simple or straightforward as the dime a dozen pundits like to make out doesn't it.

60mins have done some interviews and dive into this

Turns out the radios have been reportedly in situ for 10yrs. And the pager supply chain quite complex.

To the point of fake reviews and adverts.
