How about these two Kiwi shows (both 1987)?

I remember the first one being on Network Two on Sunday Nights, and the second one on Saturday nights. Steel Riders was never repeated (as far as I know) but Peppermint Twist was repeated Sunday nights, I think in 1988 or 1989.

Can't say as I remember Steel Riders, but NZ On Screen has it complete (as two "movies"): https://www.nzonscreen.com/title/steel-riders-telemovie-1987

Peppermint Twist has just a single episode online though: https://www.nzonscreen.com/title/peppermint-twist-lets-limbo-1987

Steel Riders ran every week for about 6-7 weeks, from memory. Peppermint Twist had quite a few episodes, but only ran for the one series (sadly).

Airwolf belongs in this list.

Was Airwolf ever shown in NZ? My English wife says she watched it as a kid, and I know of it because I had the Spectrum game of it, but I don't remember every seeing it in NZ.

Looks like it was on TV3 around 1990, according to this site I found of historic NZ TV listings:

https://forums.mediaspy.org/t/classic-nz-tv-listings/11979/1874

(I never saw it myself either, as we didn't get TV3 on the Coast then).

Ah, that explains it. On Friday evenings around that time Dad had us watching the rugby on Sky.

Automan (whose sidekick was cursor)

Also, a show about a guy living on earth who was actually an alien (not Mork of Alf).  I Rember very little except that he was high school/college age and one of the other main characters was a black guy called Shep or Shepherd.

This was one of my late grandmother's favourite shows, so I remember it quite well.

Funnily enough it was only quite recently someone blew my mind by reminding me that it was Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman in this show. I remember that show well as a kid, then loved T2 (+T1) and Hellboy a little later in life, but had never put 2+2 together until just a couple of years ago :D

Interestingly the following video popped up on my YT feed about The Untouchables

https://youtu.be/ZNBOscelbMY?si=91m0W0ARAMAtkXmb

I enjoyed this show and thought it was much better than the movie.

I think George RR Martin might have been show runner on Beauty and the Beast
