openmedia: Got mine in the post this morning, and it looks very smart.

Has anyone here tried to take one apart?

Yes, I got mine to use as a larger drive in my WHS. Good instructions in this video posted earlier in this thread - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZUMh_H3B_Y

I replaced the 1TB drive with a smaller Seagate drive that I had lying around. Formatted and good to go. So I can confirm that the case and connections are compatable with other makes & sizes of drives.

I got an email about an hour ago saying my order has been dispatched today!
I ordered mine online at about 10am on Thursday and paid by internet banking pretty much straight after that.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

I just received the same email, I bought two online and paid by credit card - the dispatch note only lists one!  Wonder if this is an error, or limited stock.

There was a "1 per customer limit" so unless you ordered 2 seperatly thats probably "as intended"

Shame on me for not reading properly, though shouldn't their shopping cart have stopped me from adding two?

Got a call from DSE to say my raincheck drive was in. Just picked it up. Disappointed that it does not have a power switch though I do see that it shuts down when the PC is powered off.. For $99 I can't complain too much..
