Tomorrow : When The War Began - I enjoyed it, may even read the book..... they were quite good with details in the movie, when the enemy are firing from the guns on the vehicles you could see the barrels glowing to indicate the heat.... lot of movies dont worry about such detail.   8/10

Limitless - Wasn't expecting much as my friends said it looked really bad from the trailer. Glad I went, it wasn't bad at all! I can see how the trailer makes it look a bit cheesy but the acting, editing and music saved it. Worth a watch I think.

The Losers

I wasn't expecting much but I was really impressed. It had a sense of fun a lot of action movies these days miss.

Simple but it knew what it was a great ride.

BTW: 30 Days of Night should have been over in 30 min the way those vampires were going through that town. It would have been much better if a special forces team had happened to be in the town when the vampires attacked.

Watched Morning Glory (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1126618/), which started ok, actually got interesting... But the ending was disappointing. 6/10.

Tron Legacy 6.5/10

I even re-watched the bluray verision of Tron beforehand :)

The sequel I thought was a bit weak in the storyline and could have been better if the enemy hadn't been a CGI-ed Jeff Bridges.

Just watched Machete. Lots of blood, but an OK watch. Pretty talented cast (except maybe Steven Seagal ;) )

I'd give it a 7.

Went to see Paul last Tuesday.

Nearly every movie that comes out these days is well overhyped about it's central theme - this movie certainly wasn't. I was almost in hysterics at some points. It's exceptionally rare for me to say I'd go to a theatre to watch a movie or second (or more) time, but I definitely would with this one.

I especially liked the references to, and lines lifted from, other movies. These are sprinkled very fittingly throughout this film. Great actors, great comedians, great script - what more can I say?

I'd score it 10/10.

Watched Four Lions last night and although I was hoping for it to be a little funnier it was still very good. Would and already have recommended it to others. 8 outta 10.

Also recently watched the Eagle with Channing Tatum in it and I was expecting it to be quite weak and only average I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly emjoyed it and again have recommended it to friends. 8 outta 10 also.

Saw Rio (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1436562/) in 3D the Tuesday before Easter
To me (a brazilian), it was full of stereotypes. But after analyzing it a bit more, I came to the conclusion that it's because Rio (the city) is chock full of stereotypes. So, in a way, it was an interesting portrait of Rio (the city) to someone who knows it from IRL.

Otherwise, a good night out. Quite enjoyed it. 7.5/10

I watched Scream 4 today at Sylvia Park. We got put into the Directors Cinema because not enough people wanted tickets to have the full one apparently. Lol. Not complaining. But the movie was absolutely amazing. I mean like, you could kinda predict it, but what movie can't? It still had some twists and it wasn't too gory, which is good. Would recommend to everyone. 10/10

Saw Arthur on Monday. I knew the plot of the original, but hadn't seen all of it. I think it captured the essence of the original, and did a pretty good job overall. I wasn't laughing out loud the whole time, but it was enjoyable and reasonably rewarding - 7.5/10

Saw Paul last week. I'm a huge fan of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and was expecting something really good. But I was a little disappointed with Paul. The film was okay, but I felt it wasn't as clever or witty as Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, and the American influence seemed to be pretty strong. I thought Sigourney Weaver was under-utilised, and while the pop culture references were there, it seemed like they were avoiding from being too referential in case people didn't get it, and instead there was a lot of potty humour. I'm definitely no prude and that type of joke can be very funny, but I expected something a bit cleverer from these guys, and it ended up feeling very flat. 6.5/10
