RED - 10.5/10: comedy, action, romance and drama; coupled with superb acting and directing ... I would give it an oscar for actually most entertaining movie per second of my life watching it (oceans 11 fans will like it)

Hit list: fell asleep so i can't even rate it

Tron legacy: sorry geeks but it didnt catch enough of my attention for me to understand the show

Tangled: wife loved it for nostalgia

Love and other drugs: it's ok or not ok depending on who/what you're watching

Thor 3D - 7.5/10 Not bad, but the story is a bit thin. Obviously, this film is more about establishing the characters for the Avengers movie, so don't expect a particularly rich story. Don't bother watching in 3D - there's nothing particularly worthy of 3D in this film. But, as always with these Marvel films, stay til the end (past the credits) for another Nick Fury snippet building the Avengers backstory...

Burke and Hare - 7/10. Funny in places, but uneven editing means the story bounces around a bit, and makes some leaps which leave you feeling you've missed a couple of scenes. None of the characters really get fleshed out, but Pegg and Serkis are always good value, whatever they're in. Good fun for British comedy spotters.

Just finished watching

Tucker and Dale vs Evil.

It honestly was one of the funniest if not the funniest movie I have seen in a long time.  9 out of 10 and I recommend this one to anyone who needs a laugh and can stomach a little bit of gore.

The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang - from the makers of Napoleon Dynamite. Dragging start, but good entertainment from chapter 3. Not as introspective as dynamite. Kind of a kids movie but with enough swearing so you probably would not want kids watching it.

The Lincoln Lawyer

Probably a 7/10 and mostly thanks to a nice bunch of well thought out twists at the end. That being said I feel like i've seen it or a very similar variant before so always felt like I knew what was coming. Whether I did or not I can't quite figure out.

Also watched LIMITLESS over the weekend. This was pretty good too and although my friend called the ending weak i found it to be good. 8 outta 10.

Also as I stated above Tucker and Dale vs Evil is well worth watching really funny movie about peoples perceptions and how they change from one person to the next.

Watched Shutter Island a couple of weeks ago:

Very bizzare movie!
You think you understand the plot then, BAM it turns, then BAM it turns AGAIN!!!
Great movie overall, kept me thinking over the whole film and even afterwards but is still good to watch!

The Tourist

What can I say? Ummm... let me think...

2 stars. And I'm being kind. Can't believe that Jolie and Depp agreed to do this flick. *sigh*
If you still watch this after reading my review, then you deserve everything you get. :D

I have to go and rub my eyes with sandpaper now.

Cheers,

Amazing film, you start to feel sorry for Dale. Tucker also gets a rough time. A great twist and some unexpected scenes keep you going.

Laugh a minute. 9.5 out of 10 for me :-)

Hangover 2, especially if you were a fan of the first one. Pirates of the Caribbean is also supposed to be very good, big step up from the last one which was strange... 1 and 2 were good but 3... yeah.

Paul is good, but not worth paying to see it. The remake of Arthur looks stupid, why mess with a classic??

Watched No Strings Attached (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1411238/) with wife. We both agreed it was a 5/10 at best.
