only 42 to signatures so far. Out of it 7 or from my family and friends. Looks like no one doesn’t care.

Got the approval e-mail today!

My timeline:

22 June 2021 - applied in Akl, paper-based

26 July 2022 - got an e-mail asking to confirm some details like date of birth, name spelling etc

23 August 2022 - citizenship approval.

Now waiting for the ceremony. Did anyone get news about that yet? :)

Hi, I remember there was a Facebook group for immigrants where they posted all the info about protests last year; people shared info about visas etc. I don't remember the name of the group, unfortunately.

I am sure if you share the petition to that group (page?), many people would sign

JoKiwi: Between June 22 and July 22.
They have proposed zero applications from 2021 backlog.
Do we have to withdraw our applications and resubmit again?

I'm not sure if we're looking at the same document but I can see applications from 2021 being processed in June 2022.

The three columns are:

Date Created | Processing Date (sorted by date ascending) | Decision Date

This screenshot does show that there are applications that have been created in 2021 which are being processed in June 2022.

I've copied the data into Excel and checked the numbers and here's what I get.

"Decision Date" between June 22 and July 22 (i.e., for the month of June), I get 2791 applications decided which have a creation date of sometime in 2021.

Of those decisions, the average "processing time" was 297 days, and the average "decision time" was 27 days.

Edit #1: Clarity

Edit #2: Wrong filter applied in excel.

Thanks. In a few more years I'll have lived longer in New Zealand than Brazil.
