People who don't have the slightest trouble unwrapping a Mars bar / chocy biccie / Whittakers in the kitchen but find it so exhausting to carry the wrapper all the way to the kitchen bin and put it in.

The appalling prostitution by advertisers, political parties, broadcasters and others who really should know better of songs of the 60's that had very important and specific cultural and contextual significance at that time but are now apparently just convenient background noise to sell something or promote an idea that has nothing whatsoever to do with the point of the song, and may even be antithetical to it if anyone still understood what it was actually about.

I know it's ironic to complain about complainers, but my god, the British are a miserable lot.

I don't know how the pommies got the reputation for having a "stiff upper lip" during World War II. Perhaps they've been so miserable for so long that being bombed was a relief.

I swear a Brit could be gifted an all-expenses paid Disney trip by a supermodel brain surgeon, receive oral sex from the same on an ride, and still complain.

Honestly, I'd like to slap some of them and say "for f__k sake, if you're so miserable and life is so unbearable just go ahead and kill yourself. We know you were born post-empire, but stop inflicting your unhappiness on everyone around you."

"And while I'm at it, talk to your doctor about your grammar pedantry syndrome."

Here's a video called "What Teaching English in Japan was REALLY Like."

That's ironic in a thread dedicated to people whining about small things and the fact it's about 8x bigger than the the opposite thread and the one I made to acknowledge that sometimes people go above and beyond which is about 5 pages long.

Maybe people are annoyed by more things than they are pleased by.

CourierPost!

Your item has been processed at a NZ Post Depot. Turn on delivery updates to receive notifications on your item's progress

Signature required

Estimated delivery: Yesterday

CourierPost probably playing their games again:

Fuel goes up = Delays from Auckland, as they seem to wait until the truck is full!

No /Reduced shipments from China = Longer to fill truck up = Extra 2-5 days to Christchurch!

(For a normal 2 day inter-island service!)

Same delays happened after the earthquakes!

Windows.

I have TV series in folders in the Explorer Details view. I move 6 TV series with 24 episodes each to a different HDD. When I click on each moved series I watch as it chugs its way down the list, one at a time, each one disappearing so it can show them in Large Icons view, so that I can then change the view back to Details view. I get to watch and do this another 5 times.

Tailgating idiots on a packed highway where we are all doing at or around the speed limit - in this case 100km/h

This was heading to Waikato from AKL over the weekend.

Long line of traffic - all at speed. Dude in a Ranger (what else?) inches from my bumper. Thought about brake-checking him, but I had the kids in the back and my car has only just come back from the panelbeaters with a new rear-end as it is.

Really annoying. Where was he going to go? He'd have to pass 100 cars to get anywhere any faster.

Yep, as to be expected unfortunately - Ranger drivers (or, more generally, ute drivers) are certainly the new Commodore drivers...

I once went on a company sponsored defensive driving course. The instructor suggested, among other things, that I move just across the outer lines of the lane where all the dirt and little stones accumulate. Chances are that some of those little stones flick up onto the car behind you if they are close enough..

People that can't drive around a corner without swinging wide!! You are doing 10-30kph! You are not a rally driver. It seems to be getting worse (as in more and more people) who is teaching this?

Almost had someone drive into me yesterday by coming into my lane to 'make the turn'

I am a rally driver.  That's what the handbrake is for....

But yes, unless you are driving a very long vehicle and/or towing, you do not need to swing out wide on 95% of corners.  The worst place I've seen it done was the Totara Park lights, heading north.  Someone turning right from the turning bay swung wide (to the left) into the "fast" lane in order to "make the turn", nearly getting wiped out by the traffic proceeding straight through the lights at 100kmh.
