Geektastic:

Real Estate Agents who cannot be bothered to update online listings that are sold or under offer. Or put prices on houses.

The real estate agent who parked his car completely blocking the entrance of our long driveway just as I was driving in.  He was walking with his mates across the road carrying stuff for an auction, and in response to "excuse me mate - you can't park there" explained that he'd "only be 5 minutes or so".  "Right now" was the correct answer, but I had to scare the bejesus out of him to get the required action.

I suggested that I'd move it myself right now. Large truck with angry driver and 8 tonne tow strop vs Shiny New Q7.  I was going to suggest that I partake in the auction and drive my truck right up to the front door of the place being auctioned - to "help move things along" - but he got the message - so that wasn't needed.

They should up their workout intensity and become runners.  :-p

No energy for smugness then.

Somewhat related: Neighbour has been selling their house and a couple of old ladies walked into our property to look at the house from our end.

Went out and asked if I could help them with anything, one of the sweet old ladies suggested that we should close our gate if we didn't want people walking onto our property...

Emoticons. I'm not sure why I dislike them. I just do. I understand the usefulness of shortcuts when trying to convey something on a dinky phone virtual keyboard but I also wonder if it has something to do with the general illiteracy trend of modern electronic communications. What it says to me is I can't be bothered trying to articulate what I'm feeling or I no longer know how so here is a pre-packaged boiler plate image made up by someone else instead so I don't have to tax my waning brain power.😠

I prefer gif reacts, perhaps Mauritio can add that as a feature on here?

Emoticons are to convey tone, something that can be difficult to express only in written words and has led to many internet arguments.

Emoticons reflect the declining education system, declining appreciation of reading literature, and the concomitant intellectual atrophy of the population.

Exactly why I made our gates automatic. Memsahib said no to razor wire and minigun turrets though.
