Movies with a 2.35 aspect ratio cropped to 16:9 to fill the entire screen on broadcast television. Sky movies and three I have noticed this! It's not how the directors intended. Oh and movies with IMAX aspect ratio cropped to 2.35 aswell. "Cough avengers infinity war/endgame 1917 and others"

Ge0rge: The lack of any form of useful information on courier tracking websites.

If it weren't for lockdown, I could have walked the 40~ km there and back in less time than this package has apparently spent moving between the same depot.

mine has been "picked up " now for 4 days, who knows when i will get it.

Mine has been with the "Last Mile Carrier" since 27/2/20. :(

They can't blame that one on lockdown!

I have a package from Germany that NZ post has listed as "awaiting Customs clearance" since about mid January this year. It's still listed as that, despite me having had the item in my posession since about the last week in Jan.

Smh.

America will never die of Covid-19 - it will die of political dementia and collective stupidity.

Lost packages in general... and in particular the asymmetry between who is responsible for chasing it up vs who cares about the most.... (and yet can't really do anything about it.....)

After rain watches for bugger all rain our forecast for today was finally updated to Fine, with a nice bright yellow sun to emphasize the point. Issued at 5.37pm. When is sunset ? - 5.42pm.

I remember the cold. This week we had our first day over 40 for the year.

Summer is coming.

You can get a plumber to look at that. And, on the plus side, there will be no shortage of plumbers who will be only too happy to come and fix it immediately.
