My VC's today (ones I have been able to get on when I haven't been locked out of everything, that is) have been choppy and hard to hear/see.

Annoying.

Dunedin City Council not updating their website with information in relation to parking meters; it has been free while under Level 4. What happens at Level 3?

Press Conferences in NZ!

Particularly highlighted by the current Covid-19 ones.

Why do all the reporters talk over each other?

Put your "b" hand up and wait your turn.

Show the people some respect, and don't show your profession as dis-respectful and unprofessional!

(My 10c worth - I feel better now that I have vented)

Also, don't ask silly questions like "Now that you've extended L4 for a week, will you be offering more money in the wage subsidy scheme?" - when it was paid out for 12 weeks in advance. If I was Jacinda I probably would have lost it by now at SOMEONE asking these types of questions

The amount of dog crap all over our local park. At some point they will be open for adults and kids to play football on, but I'm glad we play elsewhere.

Unfortunately the best walking park near us is a designated dog park. It's also a natural area to ride a bike especially as it links up with walkway/bikeways. The dog owners get pretty snarky with anyone who strays into their area on bike.

Coming home and finding a parcel on my doorstep delivered to the wrong address. I looked up on facebook who I thought the owner of the parcel probably was. The correct address is one street over from my street.

No response from the person on facebook I messaged. I decided to go for a walk to drop the parcel off. Went back outside and it was gone.

I guess the courier came and grabbed it. But they didn't knock. Shrug, nothing more I can do about it.

I think I've mentioned this before: I was walking our (female) dog and she squatted to pee (as female dogs do) and a driver going past shouted "Clean up after your dog!"

Assumptions...

Haha, if someone yelled that to me (and I could think quickly enough) I'd yell back "SURE! I LIKE A CHALLENGE!"

I guess some people don't realise there's any difference in that regard between a dog and a bitch.

I must admit the dog owners I see in the dog park are pretty damn good at cleaning up. I was more intrigued by their attitude to other people coming into "their space".

CDs in cardboard cases. Yes, I know you're arty and unique but why does everyone need to be opened a different way? Made to a tighter tolerance than the space shuttle, some of the discs are nigh on impossible to get out. And good luck if you get it wet.

People who don't stop to consider what it is they are trying to achieve when wrapping something for courier.

This had only a single layer of bubble wrap around the entire item (facing the wrong way) and a bit of cellotape to protect the end. Then it was squeezed into a thin courier bag and sent.

Sigh. That's a right-off.

And they will probably also complain that the couriers were rough with it and that its the couriers fault and they shouldnt have to refund you for the item.

I've dealt with many idiotic trademe sellers that try the "no responsibility for courier" BS and luckilly the worst offender I paid thru pay now as it was called then so trademe helped out on the problem.

Was a graphics card with similar idiotic packaging to your drive.

I purchased two essential items on Trademe last week; shipped from Auckland on the same day

Courier Post delivered on Monday; Fastway still has the parcel ..
