Comments section on this story has completely disappeared. There were comments there a few hours ago!
I noticed that they do that very often!
(Is that so people can't complain about their comment being deleted - they delete them all?)

Yes, I think they delete the whole lot for that reason & because on any Maori issue there will be comments ranging from reasoned debate to
outright racism. It's easier to delete the lot rather than differentiate.
I think Stuff's strategy is to run crime stories very prominently when available. (a form of clickbait)
Also in their strategy is to have contributors that they know will be very controversial ( another form of clickbait)
Not the headline but the whole story. I am not sure KH would be in the market for a rental...

Didn't they just sell their house for millions, couldn't imagine houses in their rental range would be in poor condition
Next thing we know Mike will be going electric or star supporting the present Govt.
Did they? Selling a house to go rental? Only if for a few months while finding something else, surely? Oh, well... Reality stings sometimes.

I thought that was a typo - then realised that it doesn't matter.
Not a headline but from Stuff:
Campylobacter discovery prompts raw milk recall ESTHER TAUNTON
Last updated 11:28, September 4 2018
snip.....The recalled batch numbers are 270818, 280818, 310818, 010918 and 030918, with use by dates between August 27 and September 3 ....snip
Hmmm......list details of a recall after the use by date.

I've asked the mods to have a look at the above post that has screwed up the page format.
Only one headline on the NZ Herald site this morning:

Same here. Slow news day?
OMG Property prices are falling, and those who have to sell or have problem properties are feeling the pain.
https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/106855889/qv-data-shows-new-zealand-house-prices-falling
So, the title shows a must read NZ House Prices Drop, and the first sentence is as above, a definite must read. Read the article and it says nothing of interest. Some drops have occured, minimal to say the least, particularly when volumes are down, stats can vary more. It then says that volume is down, as is normal for Winter, but wait for Spring to generate interest, again as is normal
Hardly a "and those who have to sell or have problem properties are feeling the pain."

Its ok now, my post above shows there is news, just find a topic where there is no news, and make it look like news, until you read the article

Stuff's story https://www.stuff.co.nz/world/south-pacific/106895640/magnitude-78-quake-hits-off-fiji has absolutely no mention of how the quake have affected the people of Fiji. Just a repost of a NZ Civil defence tweet that their is no tsunami warning for New Zealand.
