I suppose I should be grateful they haven't lost it... yet... I'd really like to know what they're doing with it; but given it'll likely be 3 to 5 days to get a response if I ask, it's hardly worth the effort.
"Next Day" delivery? Not as such, no.

Did anyone say Covid 19 yet? That damned virus is really small and it really annoys me.

@jamesrt Is your post regarding CourierPost? We have a parcel that shows on tack and trace as picked up from sender and never changed from that yet the parcel is unpacked and sitting in our garage. I am thinking their track and trace program is broken.
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
MikeB4: @jamesrt Is your post regarding CourierPost?
@MikeB4 CourierPost / NZPost - not exactly sure what (if any) the difference is. The tracking link sent by the purchaser on email goes to nzpost website (The mail said "New Zealand Post tracking number: LVxxxxxxxxxNZ"); but when I asked him what expectations he had around delivery timeframes, he name-dropped CourierPost. So, "yes?".
MikeB4: I am thinking their track and trace program is broken.
Maybe; or in my case they may just be overwhelmed with mail given online purchases are the new future now that all the stores are closed. Regardless, I don't have my package, so you're luckier than I am!
With everyone out walking at the moment, I'm amazed at the number of people who walk on the left with the traffic coming up behind them on road with no footpath compared to the safe way of walking into the traffic.
People who drive several tonnes of murder/manslaughter weapons on the road, then complain that pedestrians walking on the sides of roads where there are no footpaths are "annoying". There's no option on many of the rural roads where I am to walk on the RH side. Many car drivers are morons.
Solution: Slow The F&%$ Down. It's that easy.

People who don't read posts and rage against something that was never said in the first place.

People who assume that a post *must* refer directly to (and criticise) what the previous poster said. Many car drivers are inconsiderate morons when it comes to the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. I see it all the time and dead bodies prove it. The previous poster inspired me. Kudos.
Others' behaviour at a time like this...i.e. people who don't care about social distancing regardless of how much you might try.
Taking the dog for walks and so often we have people that will come crazily close despite there being enough space for us to adequately distance ourselves...it doesn't work if only one of you is trying!

Geektastic: The lack of robustness in the electricity supply.
Second outage in a week. Not helpful when everyone working from home. Needs much more work on resilience.
Do you know the cause of the outage? Most seem to be physical damage to the gear from idoit car drivers. Not sure that people would want to pay for a robust enough network to deal with that outage free.
Generators are a thing. Probably cheaper to get one of those than pay for a totally redundant power network. At least with power you have that option. There is no way to have a backup internet connection that you keep in the shed.
sm1ff: People who still uses DVD in 2020. Must upgrade to blu-ray or uhd blu-ray. As they are much sharper and clearer picture and audio quality and are more immersive too. Infact its only about 5 to 10 dollar difference between DVD and blu-ray and its worth it!!!!
Those cheap HD tvs with inbuilt dvd players really annoy me. Would rather have another HDMI input instead of an obsolete media spinner that will probably be dead in 2 years, long before the screen.
