Blood Test day again.....walking past the Consulate inSecurity guard.....resting his eyes on the way to get tested.

On the way back, see yet several more cameras, even lots down the side of the driveway for the "student village"!

From none "on the Street" to over a dozen in under a month! Hmmm!

(And the inSecurity moron still sleeps)

....also on the return, a car parked in the cycleway, in view of the Consulate cameras, (And the "possibly sleeping moron") doing "what from appearances" was a drug deal!

(Money handed in open window, return packet into pocket)

Maybe the "security" guard doesn't work for the consulate and the cameras are monitoring him 😉

I'm thinking this pretty much requires a thread all of its own 😄

Well it's worth a "Geek look" if you are in Christchurch! (Hansons Lane near Blenheim Road)

If something "dramatic" happens, I'll certainly start a thread for it. Not much room for more cameras this side now!

Still waiting for the drones!

Epic has been doing a free game every day of the holidays. Today is the best game of the lot (being xmas day in the US) and accidentally they gave away the wrong edition and then corrected it. People are going NUTS. Such over entitled nut cases.

It's still a great game they didn't have to pay for and all people are doing is throwing shade (like serious shade).

Some days I despair for humanity. I can't get over how ungrateful people are.

Out of interest, which game was this?

He does. But apparently he knows that he enjoys diplomatic protection.

Very reminiscent of You Can't Get There from Here, the story of NZ rail.

..and mis-managed in the typical way that can be expected from the bowl of cold porridge that is Metlink.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

From what I can tell, it wasn't mis-managed at all. That would require actually attempting to manage things.

The Guardian - Greta Thunberg ends year with one of the greatest tweets in history   (31 Dec 2022)

Thunberg’s exchange is a reminder of the connection between machismo, misogyny and hostility to climate action.

Act 1

On 27 December, former kickboxer, professional misogynist and online entrepreneur Andrew Tate, 36, sent a boastfully hostile tweet to climate activist Greta Thunberg, 19, about his sports car collection. :

Thunberg replied: “yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalldickenergy@getalife.com.

Act 2

Thunberg’s takedown clearly stung Tate, who 10 hours later tweeted out a pompous video in which he tried to reassert his masculinity and status by blathering on in a dressing gown, with a cigar and a pizza box as props.

Not long after that, he and his brother Tristan Tate were arrested by Romanian authorities in connection with appalling allegations of sex trafficking.

The Romanian-brand pizza box in his video [reportedly] helped cue Romanian police to his location.

Act 3

Thunberg tweeted on the morning of the 30th: “this is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes

Thunberg 2, Tate nil   😀😀😀😀

Somewhat disappointing

"UPDATED: Romanian officials have now confirmed to the New York Times and Washington Post that the pizza box had nothing to do with the arrest."

I'd hoped that the QR code linked to the customer address. Marking the packaging with something linking back to the customer was once suggested to combat junk food littering.

Never heard of Andrew Tate, maybe my new year resolution could be to lower my standards and join the online social crowd. Yeah nah!
