A week or two old, but Stuff seems to have forgotten there's a short catchy name for "people with the capacity for pregnancy" and another for "those that make sperm."

It's no wonder that sex dolls seem to be becoming more and more technically and visually sophisticated and refined. So I'm beginning to understand why they should cost over 1,500€... still cheaper than marrying a later quarrelling, over-eloquent, useless xanthippe who constantly blathers on about equality but can't contribute anything to a fit, daily life. So in future there will be more people who make sperm playing with dolls (or taking up the oldest trade in the world) to exclude any contact with man-despising people with the will for pregnancy? Well, also a contraceptive method. Or volcels?

What a declaration of bankruptcy for social, emotional, partnership-based togetherness!

I think we’ve reached peak Whisky Tango Foxtrot. Time to lock the thread.

Already? Whatever, but it doesn't prevent the social change that is going on out there (before it reaches you). We already have three separate public toilets next to each other. There could easily be more. 🤣

I walked past a place claiming to be a 24-hour gym earlier today. The opening hours are on the door, and were something like 06:00-22:00.

Edit: Of course, right after posting I find myself wondering whether the hours on the door are just when it's manned by staff or something. I didn't read the sign very closely.

It's new year, I'm expecting a certain percentage of alcohol-influenced posting so prepared to overlook a few oddities.

Yeah, seems likely. Glad I don't drink.

My squash club a few years back was supposedly 24 hours access, which was true, except you weren't allowed to play squash between 10pm and 6am. It was a pretty bare building, I am not really wanting to think about what people did to amuse themselves during the unspeakable hours!

That's getting a bit towards the pricey end. I love the Olivo Estate Extra Virgin (the silver-medal 2021 vintage, not the gold-medal 2022 which isn't as good) which works out to about $60/litre, but for less special guests Pams Extra Virgin, using Tunisian olives rather than Italian export-grade lampante, where the money goes to small farmers in Tunisia rather than the Italian mafia, is fine, of all the supermarket-stocked oils I've tried that's by far the best I've found.

Hands down the best Olive Oil I have is River Estate. I am not exactly sure which variety it is, but its buttery and smooth and doesn't have any grassy elements. It's my dipping and special occasion one, and anyone who looks at it during cooking gets a very sharp look from me!

It's about $40 a Litre. For everyday use, the one I like to cook with is Cobram Estate in a purple labelled bottle.

Oh, I like the grassiness. You probably won't like the Olivio then.

And yep, if you were to come here and drizzle it on salad or use it in a fry-up you'd end up being educated on the various types of oil, staring with crankcase oil and working up through cutting oil to light engine oil.

Yeah - it’s a gym 24-hours - just not open all of ‘em.

Why, are you against the consensual, equal cohabitation of man and woman? Or have I (possibly) expressed myself wrongly (which was not intended)? In any case, this constant categorisation of majorities by the world views of minorities gets on my nerves.

The latest hammer from a couple of crazy chickens is just that they demand that a fast food chain operating worldwide treat hamburgers and vegan hamburgers completely separately! I.e. double the logistics effort for an already resource-intensive FASTFOOD! I.e. the general public is additionally(!) burdened by the demands of a few crazy chickens, because they project their abstruse world views onto the majority. And with such people one should be able to talk sensibly, let alone live together? But maybe you also like the 5G demonstrators, who act in a similarly "intelligent" way. But whatever, unlike this minority, I am tolerant - but I don't have to accept everything.

Happy New Year, btw!
