Silicon Valley. (Laugh out loud funny to me)
Game of Thrones. (The Hound is my favourite)
The Goldbergs. (Very funny family show set in the 80's)
And previously
House of Fools (new Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer show. Ridiculous and hilarious. Has Matt Berry too, who is awesome.)

Crisis - Alright so far, but wondering how far they can take the story.... the plot to me is a single season run.
Blacklist - Enjoying it but some of the acting is a little weak
Big Bang Theory
GoT
Banshee - Sex, drugs, violence, nudity..... what else do you want ? ;)
SoA - Waiting for it to start its final run...
Babylon 5 - borrowing off a friend, will be watching it from start to end.... again.

Grim would certainly be the word for that...!!

Is it my imagination, or has the latest GoT had the sex and nudity censors across it? There seems to be far less than there was in the initial series.

The second series of Orange is the New Black starts on Netflix next month (I think on the 6th) - looking forward to this (a series to watch on Netflix - can't say I've found that many I'm that keen on since finishing off both series of House of Cards).

+ 1 for Fargo; Billy Bob is just brilliant in this.
Orphan Black (series 2)
The Good Wife
True Detective - though finished now, this was totally gripping TV - yet further evidence that the best US TV programmes are as good as anything on film (not up there with The Wire, but nothing is IMHO!).
Girls - as much cringe as enjoyment, but still clever TV; the characters just so narcissistic and unappealing, but the writing is terrific.

In Treatment - an oldie but one we've come to relatively recently. Gabriel Bryne plays a therapist - each episode focuses on one of five different patients (including his own sessions with a therapist). Little physical action but absolutely involving; one of the best series I've seen and totally recommend it if you're interested in drama that's subtle and people-based rather than relying on bombastic action to keep one entertained.

I think they had so much in the first season as a way for the romantic female types to get their blokes to watch it with them. Could also just be that the sex in the later books tends to be mostly of the violently brutal kind, wouldn't make for fun viewing with the missus. *shrug* What do I care, as long as they have they have Ned Stark's broody looking bastard (who knows nothing) I'm happy as.

Currently working my way through season 2 of Da Vinci's Demons. This story is going places.

For comedy its Modern Family and Californication for us and that's as far as it goes for American shows. We cant watch the 'oh look how pretty we all are, oh look someones died and in the last five minutes, oh look the answer' format of all the doctor/police/lawyer shows :P

We started re-watching Luther S3 last night. Wow, it simply wets all over anything else IMO. We regularly re-watch whole series of Waking the Dead too. Tried Hinterland but it just didn't seem to move on at all or anything away of the history as to how they had arrived there and why they were all so miserable (only watched four to be fair).

The Tunnel was excellent as was The Hour which was sadly cancelled with season 3 left hanging. The Escape Artist was pretty good too.

Tried Line of Duty but thought it was awful and Broadchurch was reasonable.

The kids are loving going back over Top Gear at the moment. None are petrol heads but they love the road-trip specials.

Our reality tv extends to 24 Hours in A&E. We watched the last few weeks of The Block but missed the final episode and still don't know what happened so that tells you what we though of that !

Been following Big Bang for ages and was watching the latest season on TV2 on Wednesday, but now it is mysteriously gone a little over half way through the season and replaced by My Kitchen Drools, not impressed if that is a permanent change.
Same has happened for Brooklyn 99, going to have to watch those by another means I think.

Just obtained Community season 5, season 3 was pretty average, 4 was a bit better and hoping 5 is OK. First 2 seasons were excellent.
