What is your current broadband connection (xDSL, fibre, satellite, dial-up)? Fibre 300/100 on 2Degrees

Do you have a gaming setup?  Sure do.  Might need an upgrade though...

How would a Fibre Pro connection improve your gaming?" Fibre Pro probably wouldn't do much for this particular setup, but it would make adjacent activity (streaming music, TV, movies, etc) smoother while I enjoy some nice retro gaming in the evening.

Current broadband connection is Skinny Fibre

Gaming setup is basically non existent. I mostly play on my 3DS. Really need a new chair though, my one is broken.

Fiber Pro would improve my gaming because it would be faster. I'm on a basic fibre plan 😅

Recently moved to My Republic Fibre Pro. Current gaming setup is a borrowed gaming laptop as old rig no longer keeping up.

Orcon Fibre Pro would improve my gaming through lower latency. With my favourite game a "good" ping is ~190-230ms. I get about 70% of the advertised speed through My Republic and Orcon seems to review well for delivering advertised speed.

My current broadband ISP is Stuff-Fiber and I am on a 1Gb fiber line.

Gaming setup is mainly comprised of Asus components / Logitech bits and pieces, and a GTX1080Ti powered system.
Fiber Pro would improve my gaming because in the world of FPS gaming, latency is everything !

A year of free internet would allow me to save $$ for a 4000 series nVidia GPU

Good luck to all who enter!

"What is your current broadband connection (xDSL, fibre, satellite, dial-up)"?

A: Spark broadband

"and do you have a gaming setup?"

A: My gaming setup is a ACER NITRO 5 (RTX 3060), a Logtech G502 with a RAZER Gigantus V2

"How would a Fibre Pro connection improve your gaming?"

A: Actually, the place I am living, a private flat right beside the main house, our connection came from the WiFi of the main house, which is all right for daily stuff (Internet, Streamings services, etc), but very poor for gaming time, so with the Orcon Fibre Pro broadband, I finally would reach the peace of mind when playing.

BTW: The gaming setup would be very well used, mainly the gaming chair as my actual seat is just the chair from the dinning table kkk

I'm on Voyager UFB 300/100mbps. (I was on gigabit UFB before, but downgraded for $$$ reasons.)

SOHO with multiple (wired) desktop PCs.

I'm not a gamer myself, but I hate slow or unreliable connections.

This is for my gamer grandson to play with:

PS Love the Razer hardware, specially the chair!

Yup!

Low latency and proper routing is always good because in NZ we're always playing in foreign servers

Current BB is Spark Fibre '

My gaming setup is  the main PC, but it does more of everything else these days. I try to game when I have a chance. Definitely could do with  an upgrade on my current system!

Fibre Pro would be a welcome performance boost for home:)
