I use 2FA extensively, I have dozens of 2FA sites, this would make my life easier.

Currently use Authy for work access, and SMS 2FA for some financial thing.  I'd like to use 2FA for my password keeper, but too effing annoying.  I'd use 2FA for much much more (including Geekzone!) if I had an easy, simple, effective 2FA method of doing this that would work across the desktop, laptop and surfacepro that I use.  Most important would be for my password keeper on all these.

I currently use 2FA everywhere that I can using the Authy app. I find it easy to use along with our password vault.

I use 2FA wherever possible, but I'm not happy that some of the implementations are easy to break.
The Ubikey would add another layer of security.

A hardware 2FA key would mean services on my devices would be better secured when I'm away from them, with my hardware key on my person :-)

Started using Authy recently. I used to have an authentication device for my bank account back in the 2000s. I still feel a separate device makes sense for security given today’s context, & not only for banking. Would love the opportunity to take a Yubikey for a spin. It’s different to the device I was using back then & I’ve been curious about it for a while.

I currently use Google authenticator and MS authenticator but would love a Yubikey for faster 2 step authentication

On my phone, I have
- Google Authenticator which I also use for one of my finance-related website accounts).
- Microsoft Authenticator.
- Auth-ES which is generating a one-time code for something... but I don't remember what!?! The app refers to "DIGIPASS" and OneSpan but I don't remember what they are.

Having multiple generators doesn't sit well with my sense of tidiness.

I wonder if having one of these devices would make things better - or worse?

I'm currently using 2FA on all accounts that allow the option, including Geekzone of course. I use the Microsoft Authenticator app as it does have a Cloud backup function for the accounts.

Interesting to note that TradeMe still have not implemented 2FA in 2022.

I currently use a number of 2FA solutions, for my important personal accounts I use an app based 2FA key generator, I also have an overseas bank which provides a hardware token generator. I also use an old Yubikey, But it doesn’t have NFC so it’s very inconvenient for using regularly with modern mobile devices. On my less important accounts I use either email or sms based 2FA and my workplace provides a couple of different vendor specific apps for their business solutions. Wherever possible I make sure I use 2FA, as it’s important to reduce the risk of leaked passwords, even with Geekzone..

May the farce be with you!

I use SMS 2FA for work but should start using it for home apps from MS and Google since they offer it

I wonder if our MS home address can support multiple SMS #'s for MFA so the whole family can use the same email account with SMS MFA?

OK, I’ll admit to using 2FA/MFA with 1Password, but after clicking on the link and reading the product brief on their website I still have absolutely no idea what this thing will do. Hopefully I win so it’ll get sent to me and I can find out!
