I find Whalburger varies a lot. I’ve had it;

  1. Boston Logan airport - was McDonalds quality
  2. Casino near Palm Springs - was slightly better than McDonalds
  3. A sit down Whalburgers near Boston - was fantastic. Was actually quality food.

Sounds like the QT one is more on the McDonalds side?

My wife and I went to Burger Burger in Christchurch the other day - really very good indeed.

Sort-of related, that chain went into liquidation today: https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/business/818554/burger-burger-goes-into-liquidation

As much as they have are quite expensive for what you get, I have enjoyed a couple of lovely meals at Burger Burger.

Sad news, but unsurprising in a very competitive and challenging market.
