NZ Blood Services broken???

Himself booked an appointment to donate via the app on his phone.

They just called him to ask him if he would like to make an appointment.

He advises he already has one, gives the details, and they deny he has an appointment.

The call did not end well.

After a bit of investigating it appears that the venue of the appointment that Himself booked has changed.

So instead of contacting him to advise the venue change, they just deleted his appointment.

Has anyone else had this experience with them?

I haven't had any issues like that. I've found if I book via the app at the last minute, they won't necessarily be expecting me, as they print off their schedules and work off the printouts.

I did have to take my home number off my contact details as they had a habit of calling my mobile, me declining the call as I'm in a meeting, then calling my office line, me declining that call, then calling my home number meaning I get another call to my work number from home 5 minutes later. Geez, if you call me during work hours, on my work number, and I decline - not just not answer, but actively dump your call - take a hint!

Flightaware is up, as is that alt tracker site that tracks everything including military and police.

Behodar:

Meanwhile, on a carton of eggs:

Store between 1 TC & 15"C

What in the world is that supposed to mean? Presumably both are supposed to be °C but I'm amazed that they managed to screw both of them up in different ways.

TC = TeraCoulomb. For comparison, a lightning bolt is about 15C.

Do not place your eggs anywhere they might get struck by 66666666666.66667 or more lightning bolts simultaneously. Or maybe even consecutively.

I'm guessing "C means an inch-Coulomb, i.e. a coulomb moving by one inch.

Can someone who's on whatever that site is add an autoplaying link to the The Rainbow Connection? In the words of Rodney Rude, "that'll f - -k'em!".

This is what happens when you embed reinforcing steel into a retaining wall post:

Apparently it was a retaining wall with steel dropped into the posts and then bent over, tied, and with a concrete slab poured on top.
