msukiwi:(One I just did - received a receipt confirmation, but not a copy of what I wrote!)

I've got into the habit of doing Select All, Copy before submitting a form; you never know whether the site's going to eat it!

My annoyance for today: I bought something a month or so ago. A couple of weeks after I received the product, they sent an email saying that I hadn't written a review of the product, and provided a link where I could do so. A week later, they've sent me another email 'complaining' that I still haven't written a review. I've paid for the thing, they've sent it to me, and the transaction is over. Leave me alone!

Send them an invoice for your time in writing the review.

Or give them a one star review saying the product is adequate but you don’t want to be constantly pestered for a review.

This is the same sort of automated behaviour that has apps spruiking something and giving you the “Yes, I’m in” or “Maybe later” as the only two options. I want a “No, not now, not ever. Don’t ask again.” option.

Getting old, going out on a Saturday night for the first time in a long time and knowing that this hangover is going to last all week.

Products where you cannot just easily sign up for a trial, they force you to go through their sales people.

This sometimes takes days and even if you don't proceed with the product they keep calling and emailing you for months.

I also started to get very annoyed of video only articles where they type some meaningless intro and wants you to view the video for 30 minutes.

And after a week and half, talking to two sales people, both of them got a bit pissed because I signed up for the trial using a different company account compared to the company I work based on my Linkedin profile. They have also checked that!

Very pushy about why is this bla-bla, and wanted to push all the communications to my "real" corporate account. Security is quite tight at the current place because of a serious ransomware attack last year, so I don't want to allow any dodgy product to be introduced to the corporate network and get my a$$es kicked by security.

Looks like we have different ideas about "trialling" something.

I just want to see what the product can offer, compare it with competitors and then decide which one can be a potential candidate for implementation.

Now I have to go through a 30 minute session tomorrow, and getting very close to "you guys can be screwed, we will go with the different vendor" :D

Wellington Metlink alerts. Usually can't stop getting bombarded with emails and text messages about service delays throughout the day that are not relevant to me. This morning there are no trains on either the Melling or Hutt Valley lines, both of which I use to get to work. I haven't had one text or email alert and found out by driving to two different stations this morning then giving up and coming back home. Have logged into their website to confirm I have alerts set up for my relevant services and times.

haha, no good deed goes unpunished. I feel relatively OK today despite having had my first Squash match in the weekend for a long long time, but I suspect tomorrow it's going to be different.

The number of people I see every day NOT using a perfectly good footpath!

Instead they walk down the middle of the road with their back to the oncoming traffic, or on the grass. Why?

That is the BS argument they use to justify it. Maybe their special skills or abilities are worth twice as much, or three times as much. They are never worth hundreds of times as much. That is sheer greed talking.

If they can get paid that much for it, then it is worth that much to the person paying it. Clearly when the boards set these salaries they are seeing the value in the reutrn that person brings when setting it.

Just google 'ceo reward for failure' and then tell me they're worth it.

I must be older still: I can’t even remember the last hangover I had. Over a decade now.

Who cares? I’m not jealous of them, unlike almost everyone else it seems.

Good luck to them. I aspire to their achievements.

If you considered being a psychopathy are rare skill or ability, I'd agree that many CEO's have these skills.
