Vegans marching through Wellington's Christmas celebrations forcing their agenda and spoiling the fun spirit of the moment. They can protest on the lawns of Parliament not among children and families out to see Santa. Obviously their parents never taught them there is a time and a place for everything.

The vegans had a permit from the council to take that route on that date and time.

But then no-one would see them signalling their virtue. What's the point of being vegan if you can't loudly rub it in everyone's faces?

It's not vegans. It is a smallish group of self-important dickheads. Every movement has a few of these. Most vegans quietly live their lives and never bother anyone else about it (unless asked, of course).

I thought you said they weren't vegans?

(Sorry, just couldn't resist :-). My neighbours are vegan and apart from the AP names they've never felt the need to share it with anyone).

Perhaps some people think that freedom of expression, properly approved on application from the local authority, should be banned?

How somethings change. When I was a kid Lemon-based soft drinks had a crispy, nice flavour.

I don't usually buy Sprite - perhaps once or twice a year. Bought one this weekend and the whole thing now tastes like carbonated water, sugar and like someone waved a lime over a hole vat of the mixture. No flavour really.

We are ok the car isn't. Will need new towbar, rear hatch door, bumper, sensors, camera, possibly hatch floor but not sure as the hatch door is wedged shut.

Perhaps some people that want to express the opinion should also do the right thing, knowing that the Santa Parade was on and being pig-headed enough to cause a ruckus anyway and further alienate themselves from the general populace.

And they wonder why they get such a bad rap!

Bugger...trust you're well after this?

I got rear-ended in January this year and it really knocked me about...hoping that' not the case for you.

The guy (organiser) interviewed on the radio did himself no favours with the answers to the questions he was asked. Hardly going to be attracting new fans with attitudes like that.

It might be annoying (really annoying) but try to bear in mind they make cars by the thousand but they don't make new MikeB4s or muppets.

I am really fed up with everything Google. I try to avoid it as much as I can but it is ubiquitous.
