Eva888: option of making an appointment with one of the other doctors in the practice... blocked.

Probably shouldn't have beaten them up last time, I guess.

Eva888: Using the Manage My Health app to make a doctors appointment ASAP. First appointment available on 5th January 2021 and the option of making an appointment with one of the other doctors in the practice... blocked.

Meanwhile...bit late to cancel the joy...looks definitely like I’ll be cooking Xmas dinner for 14 people, standing on one leg like a flamingo.

That's a thing that 24 hour medical clinics are good for.  I suggest you go now or early tomorrow morning - ie hopefully not a busy time like weekends/public holidays.
(I hate their waiting rooms - they're usually full of sick people at busy times, kids chundering etc)

I use this as a straw, it's Zircaloy-4 so high melting point, extremely good corrosion resistance, and due to being hafnium-free ideal for use as a reactor fuel rod:

Never thought of using it for that but it seems somehow appropriate:

Scrolling local news websites, many articles, how good is that. Except most of them are rebadged, re-pictured and re labelled to attract the eyes. Then there are the articles that are page fillers from weeks ago.

I always mispell that word and separately. Over Xmas I am finally going to get it through my brain. I just don't understand all the trouble I have with it. :)
