MikeB4:

Trying to get trades people to turn up to give you quotes.

I can sympathise but I have to say if I get asked for a quote to change a light fitting or similar I am guilty of ignoring it. How long is a piece of string? You want me to quote for completely rewiring the cabling in between just incase? $80 + GST turns into $300 + GST, which, I get is the whole point of requesting a quote, but maybe if people want one for something that small they could try one of the larger companies with more pencil pushers and time for such things

when did people start calling Kiwifruit ,Kiwi. It has to stop otherwise in 10 years or so people will think we are named after a brown furry fruit.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

Emails from Netflix telling me what people are watching in my area.

Why on earth do they think I’d want to know?

Hansons Lane in Christchurch is currently closed due to a new car park (By the number of vehicles treating it as such!), oops I mean cycleway being built and lights going in at Suva Street.

Despite multiple signs (And I mean - LOTS!), road cones across the road, gates across the road, a car weaved around them all! Entered the intersection, found all other exits blocked by trucks.

Then did a multiple point turn in the middle of the intersection and went back the way the car came from!

Let alone the dozens of cars I see myself ignoring the closure of Hansons Lane from Blenheim Road entry and drive up the wrong side of Hansons Lane! (Some are residents of the area too!)

No wonder the road toll is so high!

I don't like being stuck in a relationship I'm finding it hard to exit from.

Oh that kind. I have now concluded its deliberate Nobody properly trained could drive that badly so since they tell me driver training is fine, it must be deliberate.

People selling a camera on TradeMe.  Photos show it with a lens attached, then way at the bottom of the description they write: "body only, lens not included"

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Once I bought something tagged as 'brand new'. I confess that I didn't read the description as I knew what I wanted and it was brand new. It arrived without any of the original packaging.
