How to do a deep fake. Who will use first: the Trump campaign, the Lincoln Project, the Russians or Chinese? Maybe “a leopard never changes its spots”Roger Stone?

I can safely retire now.

Thanks for posting!  Those planes were awesome, I distinctly remember standing on the bridge wing of a Leander (so about 30ft above sea level) and looking down on one as it flashed past at 400kts or so.

If I'd had more sense and tried a lot harder at selection a few decades ago maybe I could have ended up getting a lot closer to them than just watching videos.

Still, its interesting to watch, as well as read the odd thread about how impressed the locals were at Red Flag when the Buccaneers turned up there, and how well they did practising attacks on American ships in the Med.

This, or similar stuff, is quite interesting -

Interesting general stuff here https://www.pprune.org/military-aviation-57/ , unless you're more they Navy type.

Thanks, I'll check those out.  I'm Navy, not an aviator but keen interest in aviation and lucky enough to learn to fly with RN early in my engineering career.  Instructors were mostly ex-military from WW2/Korea/cold war era so some great anecdotes and instructional techniques

You did ? Cool. I would never have been officer material, but still, serious jealousy ensues...

I'm linking this short movie because it good but also to raise the profile of Dust channel which does sci-fi short films of often surprising quality.

There is a lot going on in this video, these guys make the modern tiktoker look like chumps.

Then there is Patrick Hernandz..........pretty sure he took a acid-tab in the 70's and woke up in the 80's holding a cane with a perm mullet wondering where the last 10 years went.
