Thanks for posting! Those planes were awesome, I distinctly remember standing on the bridge wing of a Leander (so about 30ft above sea level) and looking down on one as it flashed past at 400kts or so.

Still, its interesting to watch, as well as read the odd thread about how impressed the locals were at Red Flag when the Buccaneers turned up there, and how well they did practising attacks on American ships in the Med.

Thanks, I'll check those out. I'm Navy, not an aviator but keen interest in aviation and lucky enough to learn to fly with RN early in my engineering career. Instructors were mostly ex-military from WW2/Korea/cold war era so some great anecdotes and instructional techniques
