I have to agree with one of the comments. Most of the highways and roads in NZ would be 80Km/h in Canada, with 60kmh zones breaking things up along the way (so many tight corners). A lot of the roads would be as low as 70-60Km/h.

If they want to be serious about road deaths in NZ...they have to lower the speed limit.

The 4 lane'r in and out Auckland might qualify for 110kmh in Canada, but 100 is most likely safer as the traffic congestion is pretty crazy there.

same exact one as this i bought a year ago. Lots of that kind sold on Trademe.
My car is of no importance as it's an aftermarket sensor, not from the factory.

If u stil want to know, 1999 Toyota Corolla sedan.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/rear-view-cameras/auction-480266187.htm

Oh.. Beautiful... Same exact one? Precisely?

I quote from the auction description...

Product Notes

Parking sensor will automatically start when the vehicle is reversing.

Obviously you wouldn't install it incorrectly as that would be a huge huge danger!!!

Cheers - N

Are you seriously that dumb ? look at the picture. put on your glasses if need be.
NO connection to the gearbox whatsoever.
OF COURSEEEEEEEEEEee it would start AUTOMATICALLY when it's in reverse....IT'S ALREADY ONNNN, NO NEED TO START.
THE FRONT AND BACK SENSOR IS ON ALL THE TIME, TO WARN YOU OF OBSTACLES, NOT JUST CARS.
READ THE DESCRIPTION SON.

I'm gunna pipe in here... Because if you need a sensor to tell you there's an obstacle, front AND rear, you need to surrender your licence now.

If you bought your own parking sensor... from TRADEME... give up now.

I think it's time he admitted to making up the story about the parking sensor to cover up his earlier exaggerations.

I also think it's time Maurico instituted license levels for GZ, and if that works out ok, it could be expanded to the whole Internet.

Clearly, as someone with a full license and heaps of experience, I should get a Full Internet License straightaway. I promise I won't back my router over any sleeping cats.

Cheers - N (Full License)

No, because no matter where and when I drove, I took responsibility, kept my eyes open and wasn't a moron.

I have kids...

and not every truck driver, fork driver, digger operator, drives only on highways.

Time to get your full, and grow up.. or just hand in your licence. You really think some crappy gadget is better than being aware of your surroundings? Especially some self-installed POS from Taiwan?

You're mistaken. I'm not acting tough. I am not tough. I am however experienced, and this case, right.

I let my brain do my fighting, I'd NEVER consider making even a veiled threat of physical violence against someone should I meet them IRL.

You on the other hand, seem to have made such a threat.

Cheers - N (The F is for F&*^%^ amazing donchaknow!)

hand in my license ? LOL
and having kids make you an adult ?

Why don't you have your kids see how daddy talks on this forum. Go on, let them see. now or in the future when they can read well.

anyone can back into a small kid playing in the driveway OR a kid  that walks into your driveway while you're getting into your car.

YOU CANNOT SEE A 4 YEAR OLD KID SITTING DOWN 50 CM AWAY FROM YOUR EXHAUST PIPE.

smarten up dude.
