We've been good here and both filled in our census papers tonight. Just have to wait for them to come back and collect 'em.

So just decided to fill in the forms - apparently two people from the same household are not allowed to fill in the forms at the same time. I can't even begin to imagine who decided that was a good idea.

No census forms arrived. Rang last night and they will send some out. I wonder how many others have not received them and will they call to let them know?

They could have provided more languages than just English and Maori, ,like they have in the General Election and Passports.  I had to QA forms for people, they just miss sections out or they try to use someone else's as a template.

Been trying to do the Census online and having all kinds of issues.

Because we were going to be away from home yesterday they wouldn't supply the forms and codes early.

We were over at Mount Mauganui with my parents the night of the 4th when they supplied 2 forms, which is an issue when there are 5 people present. So my wife and I decided to do ours online leaving the paper forms for my parents.

My wife did here form online first and then the logged out. I then tried to find that we can no longer submit new forms.

After numerous phone calls we've now been informed that this is a common fault with the online service and we'll be informed when it is fixed.

Meanwhile we can't return my parents paper forms as the Census taker has scribbled through the address on the return envelope and we're no longer at the Census address from where it could be picked up.

With luck this might get resolved eventually

well the census lady show up today finally got round to completing it online due to forgetting when i put the papers last time yes some of he question were over the top. I was Tempted to lie, last time under religion i put Rastafarian. before that Jedi knight and for income it was way over the top. Now its the sickness bene lol And tempted to put under 'other' Muslim with AL-Qaeda motives but thought the better of it as might end up with the SAS knocking on my door.

The strangest question were i think came from Paul double-rolls Bennett was if you came across a job would u be willing to take it on. I answered no. then below states contact phone number required Oh yes i put that in so i can tell these people to kiss my ass. I am sick no way i could work while on meds imagine if i got a grumpy boss or staff member i would probably kill them both with my bare hands in my state. Even if i wanted too i would probably be fired on the first day that's if i even pass the interview first.

These Census are a Waste of time imho.I shouldn't even bothered and said i am a Jehovah witness, as they can get away with not having to fill out Census cause of there beliefs? Mormons too i am told.

A Statistics Department envelope turned up on Saturday with what I thought would be the missing census forms. Nope, no such luck. They just sent a post paid return envelope and nothing else! We had said that no census forms had been delivered and could they send some. It does make you wonder ...

In the US they team up together for the census.
