Game of Thrones
The Americans
Person of Interest

Are in the current rotation.

Suits is a guilty pleasure with outrageously beautiful people in it.

Anyone considering the Wire - do it! You do need to watch about 4 episodes to get into it but it is awesome.

Arrow
House of Cards (two episodes to go in second series)
The Blacklist
Have recorded Broadchurch episode 1 yet to watch

Would also be the Americans if it hadn't gone to Sky (*sigh*).  We stuck with it on TV3 even though they buried the last few episodes of the first season at like 1am!
Likewise for Homeland.

Orphan Black - Semi sci-fi british series
Elementary - Very clever
Person of Interest - Bit of everything
Cosmos - Great doco series

Didn't like GoT, way too violent for my like. I gave up when the horse got its head cut off.

MKR. Quite like MKR. Flame away.

Watched all of Luther on Netflix - great show.
Watched all of Hustle too, missed it on TV here.
Another series I enjoyed on Netflix was Collision - worth watching if you have it.

Wife went through all of House of Cards S1 (American) and really enjoyed it - I was away that weekend so missed it - will have to find time to watch to catch up.

I see TV One is about to show Intelligence which also got canned. Pity - quite liked it.

Also if you're into British realistic drama, check The Bletchley Circle coming soon to Vibe.  I stumbled into this on Netflix and ended watching them in a binge viewing session. Very compelling drama about ladies who worked at Bletchley Park(?) during the war doing code breaking and then finding themselves at a lost what to do after the war. Won't say anything more.

Stevenz,  Orphan Black is actually Canadian though there are a couple of British Actors in it.

I am watching

Game of Thrones
Americans  --- Need to enjoy what it is about to totally get it I think
Justified
Orphan Black
Fargo  --- Interesting to see where it goes.
Rake --- Looks like TV One is not going to show series 3?
Madmen
The British 2 hour murder mystery shows on Saturday night when on
Blacklist  --- the overriding arch is good but some of the one-off story are a bit repetitive.
Broadchurch

started (and finished) watching broadchurch.

honestly don't see what all the fuss is about.

david tennent is good but all the characters have a cardboard cut-out quality.

there's nothing here that hasn't been seen before (and done better).

ok but not compelling viewing.

S1 of Bletcheley Circle played on One last year. It was pretty good.

have to disagree - really enjoyed it. Twist was pretty good too. Fun to watch again knowing who the bad guy is.

Series atm:

Fargo - fun
Game of Thrones - good
Crisis - meh, looks like it will be cancelled too
Intelligence - one episode, garbage
Blacklist - fun
Big Bang - super over it now but wife still likes it
House of Cards - last episode to go
Penny Dreadful - looks cool after 1 episode
Silicon Valley - ok - the fact that the base premise (zomg compresison) is bollocks bothers me
In the Flesh Season 2 just started...

I notice that most if not all of the of the focus in the thread has been on recent series. I have just finished watching Blake's 7, which a friend loaned me all four series of on DVD. Low budget production with really tacky set quality and cheesy special effects, but still a darn fun watch. Must be more than 20 years since I first saw it. Ahhh..... nostalgia.

The new series on TV ONE - Intelligence got cancelled. Is it not very good? Looks like it is a procedural with a different story every week rather than on going stories.

I've just rewatched series 1 of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. Many of those old comedies just fall flat these days, but Michael Crawford's physical comedy and klutzy awkwardness had my teenagers in stitches. By comparison, Benny Hill, who I remember as hilarious from my childhood, is almost amusing now.

I've watched episode 1, and I am very excited for it, but I struggle to find the time to watch TV shows sometimes.  Looks like a Saturday catchup coming up for me.
