I have plenty of speakers in multiple zones hooked up to my home theatre amp. I have a few cheap bluetooth speakers. But I don't have any good quality, waterproof speakers for portable sound, so this would be awesome!

I'm not a big competition enterer, but I do have a really specific reason for entering this one.
My partner and I are getting married at the end of June.
I used to do a lot of international travel, and we met in the US. She left a great job and all her friends and family to relocate to New Zealand. We're both blind, and the biggest part of the move was going through all the stringent paperwork to get her Seeing Eye dog into the country. It's much harder to get the dog in here than my partner, I can tell ya that.
We've been together almost two years now and are really excited about our upcoming married life.
We're trying to do the wedding on the cheap. That's not easy with weddings unless you do the Registry Office thing, but I want to give her a day to remember.
Our wedding venue wanted to charge us $250 to hire a sound system, so I decided I'd just pay a bit extra and buy a UE Megaboom. Right after I made that decision, I read the announcement about this contest and couldn't believe it.
It would help our wedding budget to be able to win one and not have to buy one, and being huge music fans we would make great use of it afterwards.

I would love to use this on our TV in our lounge.  Then I can finally put the speakers at the back and sides, rather than right beside the TV like I have to at the moment.

What I current have is a flat screen telly hooked up to the FireTV. Sound comes from the telly's built in speaker drivers.
Would love to have a more entertaining sound for the kids when they watch Netflix on these wet days. Dry days they are outside riding bikes and running around.

I will use the Logitech UE Megaboom wireless speaker in my mancave. I am often exiled to the sleepout: no heating, no insulation, warm in summer and chilly in winter. So I like my tunes--LOUD. I'll be able to play what's on my phone, my tablet and my computer--sweet!

My current solution is a wired pair of creative 2.1 speakers. Which are nice but it would be nice to have a wireless solution that can be placed anywhere at any time.

If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.

Portable home music:

In the garage while working out
In the garden while gardening
In the kitchen cooking dinner
In the bedroom ... reading.

Something to pair with my Lumia 1020, the wife's Moto G or my Probook.

Now I have the built in speakers to my monitor (HP vs17e).

I plan to use the Logitech UE Megaboom wireless speaker to listen to music while in bed, from my mobile phone, and to play while out and about.
