Last year after having my internal network compromised by an email my wife receoved from her "boss at work" i implemented 2FA for all her accounts not just mine.

They managed to get $6.4k through our PayPal account (yay) which took us 3 months to get back. (PayPal suck with this)

It's been a real up hill battle getting her to use 2FA. Unfortunately she doesn't understand that security is rarely convenient.

Something like this would be so much easier as it's more convenient and I hope would be more inline with her usual securty process.

Have a family subscription to LastPass and also personally make use of the Microsoft authenticator with heaps of accounts managed this way.

Yes please, keen to try a Yubikey so sign me up! Already a reasonable prolific MFA user, via Authy and MS Authenticator.

Use TOTP for every website they're accepted, already have one yubikey (older) - use it for important stuff.

Yeah I use 2FA across all my accounts and devices as and when I can.

Wish google auth had a user password though.

Good timing - I have been using the MYKI password manager, and they are shutting down their service next week. I have been looking for a local non-cloud replacement and am settling on one that also supports Yubikey. My devices aren't USB-C, but I'm sure I could adapt...

I use 2FA with Microsoft Authenticator on virtually everything.

Where possible I tend to avoid systems that don't support MFA.

Yep, I use both Google authenticator and the Adobe one.

Would be great to win a Yubikey as well!

Yes, use 2FA. Historically, from having to use RSA tokens at work, these days mostly phone based, with Symantec, MS Authenticator, Google Authenticator (probably the least used), 1Password and my banking app.

I use 2FA on pretty much anything I can and often tell people they should do the same. Have been thinking about one of these keys for a little while now

I have both UK and NZ bank accounts and the UK ones already use 2FA. For banking it seems to be an obvious form of increased security but my NZ banks don't use it yet. With the continuing rise in on-line attacks to personal security I would feel so much more confident that my on-line accounts are better protected by this technology.

2FA is a must these days. I currently use phone apps, but have used Yubi keys in the past and found the experience seamless.

Good luck everyone!

Online security is important, but it must be simple and require little effort. 2FA using a phone is fine and dandy, provided you have the phone with you, it’s charged and you have data access. I suspect this key simplifies the 2FA process, I would certainly like to try it out.
